A pro-life activist was arrested while distributing pregnancy resource pamphlets on a public sidewalk outside a Planned Parenthood abortion center in San Francisco.

Anastasia Rogers, an organizer with the pro-life group Survivors San Francisco, was handcuffed and taken into custody Thursday after a security guard at the abortion giant alleged “threatening language” in an Instagram post she made about her sidewalk outreach, Pro-Life San Francisco said in a statement.
Officers also cited a prior warrant related to the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, according to Survivors.
Rogers was booked and held pending arraignment but was released from jail around 7 p.m. that evening, Pro-Life San Francisco said Friday.
“Yesterday, I was arrested for my pro life work at Planned Parenthood, specifically for social media content made at the sidewalk,” Rogers said in a statement shared by Pro-Life San Francisco.
“Despite never breaking any laws during my time at the San Francisco Planned Parenthood, they’re using laws, as expected, to persecute people like me using false claims of ‘intimidation’ despite knowing I can’t intimidate a fly.”

She noted that bodily autonomy ultimately shaped her thinking about the bill: “I have come to this as a matter of individual choice that does not have to be about shortening life but rather about shortening death,” she wrote.
Hochul, who identifies as Catholic, also framed her reasoning in theological terms, saying she reflected on what she has learned about God. “I was taught that God is merciful and compassionate, and so must we be,” she wrote. “This includes permitting a merciful option to those facing the unimaginable and searching for comfort in their final months in this life.”

Responding to the defunding, Lamont has approved a huge pool of taxpayer funds for the abortion corporation.
As a result, Connecticut will give $3.8 million to Planned Parenthood to cover the lost federal reimbursement. The tax money goes to Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) facilities during the period July 4, 2025, through July 3, 2026.
State legislative leaders have 24 hours upon receipt of the plan to review and – if it is their will – disapprove of the expenditures before the funds can be legally transferred. But with the state legislature controlled by pro-abortion Democrats, they’re just as supportive of killing more babies in abortions as Lamont.

Officers were called to the area of 3rd Avenue and Stewart Street at about 10:50 pm following a report that a transit driver had been assaulted. Police said they found the driver, 64, visibly shaken and suffering facial injuries.
NEW: Today, King County Prosecutors charged Antonio Marquise Long (25) with 3rd degree assault, for punching a Sound Transit bus driver Mon night in Seattle.
Prosecutors asked for $60,000 bail, but a judge reduced it to only $10,000. He remains in custody.

At least 13 worshippers were abducted when gunmen attacked a church in Kogi state, central Nigeria, amid rising insecurity in the region, a state official said on Wednesday.
Kogi Information Commissioner Kingsley Fanwo said the assault on First ECWA church, in the remote Ayetoro-Kiri community, on Sunday sparked a gunfight between the attackers and local hunters employed by the state as a first line of defense.
Four of the attackers were killed, and at least 10 others sustained wounds, Fanwo said, adding that security forces remained on the trail of the fleeing kidnappers.

It did so after holding a hearing on Tuesday during which Director of the National Counterterrorism Center Joe Kent testified that the NCTC had identified at least 18,000 known or suspected terrorists who were released into the U.S. during the Biden administration, The Center Square reported. The NCTC has also added roughly 35,000 narco-terrorists to the federal Terrorist Screening Dataset since he’s been in office.

The unprecedented 18,000 KSTs exclude the 6,525 KSTs the NCTC helped prevent from entering the country as of October, The Center Square reported.

The committee’s “Terror Threat Snapshot” highlights recent examples of terrorist acts that have occurred in the U.S. over the past six months. It also notes that more than 60 cases were reported between April 2021 and December 2025 related to individuals linked to or inspired by foreign terrorist organizations. This includes those who’ve provided material support to ISIS, Hezbollah and al Queda, who received military level training from Hezbollah and al Queda, and who claimed to commit attacks because they were inspired by foreign terrorist organizations.

The arrests, made by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, occurred Thursday and includes an illegal migrant from Chile who is allegedly part of the transnational organized crime enterprise the South American Theft Group. The migrant was convicted of burglary in California.

“Violent criminal illegal aliens who break our laws have absolutely no business remaining in the United States,” Assistant Homeland Security Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement. “We are thankful for our law enforcement who delivered the best Christmas gift for American families this holiday season: safer communities.”

The arrests are part of the Department of Homeland Security’s mission to enact President Donald Trump’s mass deportation agenda of removing as many as 21 million illegal migrants from the United States.
