I never watch the shows...The commercials were always great...but haven’t noticed lately.

I’m just a more casual fan. But when you get right down to it, the Super Bowl is simply the NFL championship game. Yet for some reason, it’s a big event far beyond football.

Doesn’t seem that contentious. Pretty much any act isn’t liked by 1/3 of the people and isn’t cared about at all by another 1/3. So that’s pretty good numbers.

Half time is for food prep, bathroom breaks, etc. I have watched almost every super bowl for the past 30+ years and can’t recall watching a whole half time show. Usually I might catch the last few minutes at most.
