The teen claimed that the employee then tore up the birth certificate and threw it away. Evi's mom, Amber, told KING5 that she called Build-A-Bear's corporate office and was offered a $20 gift card for the experience.

The article seems way more anti-“Build-A-Bear” than anti-America.
But in general you have a point. The Daily Mail is no conservative bastion. I kinda like them anyway. The Daily Mail will often report on stories that everyone else would prefer to ignore.
Surprisingly enough, some of the mainstream media is covering this particular story. Could things finally be shifting in the right direction, even if just a little?
Should have just called it Charlie and if questioned say its in honour of any other Charlie and then added Kirk when at home.

The bad publicity is going to cost the company a lot more than twenty bucks. They should have fired the employee straight away and offered to give the girl her Charlie Kirk bear gratis.
