Matt Walsh Calls for Pam Bondi to Be Fired Immediately Over Charlie Kirk Crackdown: ‘Get Rid of Her. Today.’
Mediaite ^ | September 16, 2025 | Sean James

Popular conservative creator Matt Walsh called for Attorney General Pam Bondi to be fired immediately after she said businesses must allow fans of Charlie Kirk to print posters in honor of the slain Turning Point USA founder.

Walsh said that comment, to go along with Bondi’s recent statement on targeting “hate speech” against Kirk, as well as her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, make it clear President Donald Trump needs to fire her.

“Get rid of her. Today. This is insane,” Walsh posted on X on Tuesday, in response to a clip of Bondi talking about companies not being able to “discriminate” against Kirk’s fans.

He continued: “Conservatives have fought for decades for the right to refuse service to anyone. We won that fight. Now Pam Bondi wants to roll it all back for no reason. The employee who didn’t print the flyer was already fired by his employer. This stuff is being handled successfully through free speech and free markets. This is totally gratuitous and pointless. We need the AG focused on bringing down the left wing terror cells, not prosecuting Office Depot for God’s sake.”

Walsh is referring to Office Depot recently firing an employee who refused to print posters honoring Kirk.

The Daily Wire star’s X post above came less than thirty minutes after he said Bondi has been a train wreck when it comes to key issues.

“Between this ‘hate speech nonsense and Epstein, Pam Bondi has committed two of the most egregious errors we’ve ever seen from an Attorney General,” Walsh posted. “How many seismic fuck ups will Trump permit her before he cuts her loose? Is this a ten strikes and you’re out deal or what?”

That comment follows Bondi saying criticism of Kirk after his murder last week in Utah costitutes “hate speech,” and is not protected by the First Amendment.

“There’s free speech and then there’s hate speech, and there is no place, especially now, especially after what happened to Charlie, [for it] in our society,” Bondi said in an interview with former White House official Katie Miller.

Bondi added: “We will absolutely target you, go after you if you are targeting anyone with hate speech, anything, and that’s across the aisle.”

The AG’s comments on hate speech were mocked by both right and left wingers. Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume, for example, said Bondi “should know” whatever someone deems hate speech is protected by the Constitution, no matter how vile it is.

Walsh, meanwhile, has said he is happy to see the “barbarians” who have cheered the killing of Kirk being fired. “Leftists Are Getting Fired Right and Left for Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s Death. Good,” one video posted on his YouTube account, which has 3.3 million subscribers, was titled on Tuesday.

Bondi is cracking down on hate speech that she has specifically defined as violating established federal statutes - there is no evidence she will waste her time/money on mere ugly words.

Then why not just reference the wording in those federal statues against death threats and incitement to violence? Things for which there is a legal definition. Maybe she just aint kno words or statootes too good. T'aint no evidins that she nose the diffrinse.

Wrong.

You’re not thinking carefully, this explains your logically incoherent reply to me.

Again—exposing the radical trans cult targeting children was easy and millions of people did it. We didn’t need “Matt Walsh.”

The “gender neutrality theory” as you call it exposed itself.

For a person claiming to be a patriot, supporting Trump is the very least he can do.

No, Matt Walsh made a massive intellectual error in calling for the removal of Pam Bondi.

Sorry for the source, but if you find another account of Walsh’s words that contradicts this one, please feel free to post it.

o his 5th rate show are getting more and more pathetic

Contrary to the mythology the Free Speech absolutists tell themselves, there has never been a free speech right to terroristic threats and advocation of political violence. The US has a long history of dealing with domestic terrorists groups who engage in this behavior like the KKK, the Anarchists and the Weathermen.

The targets of this speech have a equally valid right to not be subject to these threats. The legal principal “you can’t scream fire in a crowded theater” still apply no matter how desperately the daily media squealers hate the current administration

Nope

That a myth. There is no free speech right to incitement to violence and terroristic theat. The is no such thing as consequence free speech. Never has been.

"One can think one is bad at a job without one thinking one would would be better at said job."

Especially when one has no idea what that particular job entails. Arm-chair Generals suck.

Bondi may be doing an “incredible job” when not in front of a microphone. But when put in front of the public, either when speaking or when putting on a media event (the Epstein binders fiasco, for example), she has been disastrous. Somebody needs to yank her off the podium as she’s doing nothing but hurting the admin.

Bondi’s “hate speech” slogans could have been taken straight from Merrick Garland.

Agree. That was the rhetorical equivalent of the "butt fumble."

Cracking down on hate speech could be a way of going after thise on the left threatening to kill people.

Then say that. Calling it "hate speech" is just validating the rhetoric of the enemy.

Sure because everyone creates movies like these. Because whining about the radical trans on a forum is the same.

Fact is you are so emotionally tied up with Pam Bondi YOU can’t think coherently.

Defining is the same slippery as is disinformation, for the person defining it is making a personal judgement. Furthermore, it creates opportunities to weapon speech.

Britain is now doing this, and it seems like the British citizen is the one arrested, while the immigrant is given a pass.

Since administrations come & go, what went around will be turned around.

So, I say no.

As for denying service, that is something that they applied to people who refused to participate in homosexual weddings, so it might be tempting to turn the tables on those who refuse to allow service. Instead, let's use lawfare against these people who refuse, just like they did us. We do not need to open a different can of worms, Let's use that can of worms the Democrats opened. Perhaps we should allow banks to de-bank these businesses as well.

I’m down with Matt Walsh most of the time. But like a lot of people on the right, he can be a bomb thrower. A bomb throwers have to eat their words sometimes.
On 1 hand he calls for crack downs for the psycho left, then on the other hand, he whines about the “rights” being violated, or whatever. You can’t have it both ways people.
