Matt Walsh Calls for Pam Bondi to Be Fired Immediately Over Charlie Kirk Crackdown: ‘Get Rid of Her. Today.’
Mediaite ^ | September 16, 2025 | Sean James

Popular conservative creator Matt Walsh called for Attorney General Pam Bondi to be fired immediately after she said businesses must allow fans of Charlie Kirk to print posters in honor of the slain Turning Point USA founder.

Walsh said that comment, to go along with Bondi’s recent statement on targeting “hate speech” against Kirk, as well as her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, make it clear President Donald Trump needs to fire her.

“Get rid of her. Today. This is insane,” Walsh posted on X on Tuesday, in response to a clip of Bondi talking about companies not being able to “discriminate” against Kirk’s fans.

He continued: “Conservatives have fought for decades for the right to refuse service to anyone. We won that fight. Now Pam Bondi wants to roll it all back for no reason. The employee who didn’t print the flyer was already fired by his employer. This stuff is being handled successfully through free speech and free markets. This is totally gratuitous and pointless. We need the AG focused on bringing down the left wing terror cells, not prosecuting Office Depot for God’s sake.”

Walsh is referring to Office Depot recently firing an employee who refused to print posters honoring Kirk.

The Daily Wire star’s X post above came less than thirty minutes after he said Bondi has been a train wreck when it comes to key issues.

“Between this ‘hate speech nonsense and Epstein, Pam Bondi has committed two of the most egregious errors we’ve ever seen from an Attorney General,” Walsh posted. “How many seismic fuck ups will Trump permit her before he cuts her loose? Is this a ten strikes and you’re out deal or what?”

That comment follows Bondi saying criticism of Kirk after his murder last week in Utah costitutes “hate speech,” and is not protected by the First Amendment.

“There’s free speech and then there’s hate speech, and there is no place, especially now, especially after what happened to Charlie, [for it] in our society,” Bondi said in an interview with former White House official Katie Miller.

Bondi added: “We will absolutely target you, go after you if you are targeting anyone with hate speech, anything, and that’s across the aisle.”

The AG’s comments on hate speech were mocked by both right and left wingers. Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume, for example, said Bondi “should know” whatever someone deems hate speech is protected by the Constitution, no matter how vile it is.

Walsh, meanwhile, has said he is happy to see the “barbarians” who have cheered the killing of Kirk being fired. “Leftists Are Getting Fired Right and Left for Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s Death. Good,” one video posted on his YouTube account, which has 3.3 million subscribers, was titled on Tuesday.

“Remember the bakers who didn’t want to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple?”

Yes, I do remember something about that. And I support the baker. I support the owner of the proverbial lunch counter.

As I recall the baker slipped the punch before the U.S. Supreme because of a religious exemption - or maybe it was styled a lack of religious neutrality by the persecution.

I don’t think it is debatable that conservatives lost the right to refuse service at the lunch counter. That is a settled issue; commerce clause and all that.

I guess I should be sorrowful that this time the full weight of the bloated federal government may fall on dangerous liberal ideology.

If I had more compassion and energy I would go work my heart out to prevent the lunatic fringe from getting fired.

Let’s all take a deep breath as this is “Mediaite”, who would love nothing more than to sow discord amongst conservatives.

A vendor doesn’t have to endorse an issue with which it disagrees

No, they don't, although I don't think printing a poster constitutes an endorsement. A vendor also has the right to fire an employee who harms the company's reputation or insults customers, as that woman did.

After the nightmare fight over LGBT wedding cakes, people are siding with Bondi on this? Really?

Matt Walsh was responding to the Katie Miller interview of Pam. Pam made mention several times to the difference between free speech and “hate speech”. And also mentioned the Office Depot incident and having someone in her office investigate what happened. She specifically says Office Depot is not allowed to deny service and, in the context of the hate speech discussion, by asking for the incident to be investigated suggested that there could be possible consequences.

4. The SINGLE primary reason why the radical trans cult targeting children was exposed.

5. The SINGLE biggest reason why the idiotic gender neutrality theory was exposed.

6. A strong Trump supporter

That sounds like an attempt to flatter him and see how they can manipulate him. Waste of time when we have serious issues here at home.
But I guess horse face summoned him so he must go.

Bump.

You’re actually being nice. This woman is an insufferably dumb tart.

How about going after those who tried to ruin America Pam? Who have you prosecuted or even investigated? Where’s the Epstein docs that were “on my desk?” What’s the status of the J6 bomber case?

Useless - with a tiny brain and terrible media skills.

Please provide the legal definition of “hate” speech.

It's not a legal definition, but according to the left, "hate speech" is any word that comes out of a conservative's mouth.

We did throw fits when the conservative refused service for the Homos and got destroyed by big brothers.

I do not agree with everything he says either. Once he said bullying is a good thing And I didn’t listen to him for weeks.

But…he says a LOT more right (yes both sorts of right) then he does wrong (left).

I put nothing past any of these people. We will see. Trump did like the Queen and she appeared to like him back.

One thing we do know is that he won’t poop his pants in front of Camilla. LOL

Bondi is another poor choice by Trump for an important position. Maybe that is the best candidate that he could get through a Senate vote, but I have to believe there were other, better candidates that could have been found with a more thorough search. I think Patel's seeming ineffectiveness is directly related to Bondi making his job more difficult.

She’s anti-2A and now is making anti-1A noises as well... A number of us were worried about her weak on Constitution views and she has done nothing to correct that.

She’s a perfect example of “the law is the law and f*ck the Constitution” attitude that is literally part of the problem with our FedGov.

Your # 4, 5, and 6 are easy to do.

The only thing Walsh has is a platform.

I’m not sure how he got his platform, but he used it to call for A.G. Bondi’s removal.

Utter stupidity on the part of Walsh.

“she is just very careless with her words”

Matt is the one being careless with his words.

He knows nothing about Pam Bondi, but calls for her removal.
