One wonders if she’s one of these baby mama’s that expect full course to-go meals for their children when she’s on a date. Or expects for help on the rent, huggies , etc.....

I’ve been alive long enough to agree that choosing someone for marriage does have some very tough guidelines that many many people will ignore and then end up wrecked on.
And yet God sometimes puts two people together that shouldn’t be able to work well, but do. I can’t explain it with logic. It has to be grace.
It sounds like yours works. And you got a wonderful daughter from it.
A little faith indeed moves mountains. God bless you!

Stupidest comment ever. There are great step dads who accept responsibility for another man’s child. They are great fathers.

Idk about the ‘vast majority’. All it takes is love, understanding and communication. You don’t even need a phone or wifi. Idk. I think if we cut the ones we love some slack and talk to them, idk how they hate us. Unless they are dyed in the wool Marxists i suppose. We have choice too, remember.

    I fully agree!
You’ll find this sick but I married the girl next door.
God works in mysterious ways.
Pray once in a while.

Every person, man or woman, has the right and responsibility to set boundaries and deal breakers. If a man chooses to rule out women with children as possible prospects for dating/marriage, then so be it.
If he pays the bills, he gets a piece of @ss occasionally, but will never be the priority.
Piece of @ss. Is that what you call it?

To: rellic
    I don’t find it sick.
I’m happy for you.
It just doesn’t change reality or probabilities or statistics. I’m happy for men that beat the odds, but they are very few, and they aren’t reasons to change the advice I’d give to any guys asking about relationships and marriage, as things stand right now.

The interviewer then asked them if they knew when a man cheats, then why do they not know when he’s unhappy. None of them could answer. That's what's known as a "gotcha" question.
It’s the sexual dynamic of women.
 It's your worldview.

To: Kudsman
When I'm talking about balance I mean he's already got kids when entering the relationship too OR maybe he's significantly older OR maybe she's a few points more attractive in the old 1-10 scale.....something like that. Having a kid with another man is that much of a negative.
It also matters if the child is very young (which is better) and if the child's father is around (worse....who wants to deal with that?).
Women who think having a child with another man is not hugely damaging to them in the dating market are kidding themselves.

Given the legal system these days I’d tend to agree.
Milk the cow and if is a keeper then keep it,
else send it to slaughter.

Its the legal system, yes. But its also the typical modern woman out there today, as well.

Prayers for the single mom who aspires to higher standards. May God grant her the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of widsom and may God give her a mate that both fears and love our savior Jesus Christ.
And may Anton Daniels be graceous toward her because, as a true conservative, he should acknowledge the truth that there are none righteous, no not even one.

“ Some Christian conservative pastors agree with her. They scream at men to “MAN UP!” and “WIFE UP!” these single mothers.”
Preaching is a business. If a pastor ever says anything which offends women, they will walk out and take their tithes with them.

    Just one last thing....
If and only if I was going to direct a guy's attention to the fact that he insulted a woman by making a reference to a female body part on a family friendly website, then and only then would I refer to him as being only the littlest of p u t z e s.

“Any man who willingly accepts responsibility for another man’s child is a beta male by definition.”
I’ve adopted 2 kids. Does that make me a failure as a man?

To: Mr Rogers
It certainly comes down to curcumstances. Some very good women have had the misfortune of being with poor men, characterwise. However, what is being commented on is the culture of these young women who do not consider that they have a short period to find the best men they can
The messaging for them is that they can be like men and marry men at the time of their own choosing.

Also, these women will give themselves to desirable men, a thousand of them, and then expect the man that is supposed to be their husband to have to earn his right to a wife every step of the way. In many cases, these men were celibate before they married and they are celibate in the marriage once the wife has the number of children she wants.

Well, Leonard Cohen wasn’t successful in marriage either.
I loved you in the morning, our kisses deep and warm
Your hair upon the pillow like a sleepy golden storm
Yes, many loved before us, I know that we are not new
In city and in forest they smiled like me and you
But now it's come to distances and both of us must try
Your eyes are soft with sorrow
Hey, that's no way to say goodbye
I'm not looking for another as I wander in my time
Walk me to the corner, our steps will always rhyme
You know my love goes with you as your love stays with me
It's just the way it changes, like the shoreline and the sea
But let's not talk of love or chains and things we can't untie
Your eyes are soft with sorrow
Hey, that's no way to say goodbye
I loved you in the morning, our kisses deep and warm
Your hair upon the pillow like a sleepy golden storm
Yes, many loved before us, I know that we are not new
In city and in forest they smiled like me and you
But let's not talk of love or chains and things we can't untie
Your eyes are soft with sorrow
Hey, that's no way to say goodbye
