Have noticed now twice on video of Tim Walz with the "nominee" in public events-- giving the palms together raised gesture normally seen perhaps in India at a Hindu event or a jazz show-- the "Namaste". He purports to be a Presbyterian "christian" at a congregation that has guidebook indicating that God should not be referred to as "Him" (something Athiests relegate to "he must never be capitalized"- yes that petty). Check it out- and spread it around. We are not a COMMUNE- we are the United States of America. We are not a non-sovereign nation, we are not a Global entity undistinguished from other countries of the world.

just read an article- maybe it was lutheran- even more unbelievable a lutheran congregation would direct this. Martin would not approve.
Everyone knows that “Athiests Don’t Have No Songs”
Steve Martin’s (a Texas Lutheran, btw) brilliant tune on the topic:

What hand gesture?
So you'll be revoking Vivek Ramaswamy's citizenship if you catch him doing it?
Exactly correct— hates the USA, and took a salary for 24 years as a supposedly Oath Taking Officer (for defense of the US Constitution).
That’s It? A question for the press— is Walz respecting her “background” for the white folks? Heh— pretzel logic kamala could not handle the convenience of her newest “background”. As of course, Marxists have only one religion- toujours le’estate.
Something one might do in the corridors of high Indian business potentates. Not in front of what should nominally be described as American citizens- not global proletarians.
That was fun. Thanks for the link.
Is Steve Martin really Lutheran? If so, what synod?
Love it— so demonically true, even so Hindus are far more tolerable than freaking muslims-— except “in country” where there is uh.. friction. Indian muslims have been slaughtering Indian Christians- in their churches no less.
Not at all. Doesn’t do this sort of crap- he has much more to say to demonstrate validity- no more than anyone would make the sign of the Cross in front of a Hindu.
Show biz— that’s what Walz thinks he is— some kind of “star”. when it is clear he is a flaming a@@hole. A Nebraska goober who got groomed by the Chi-Coms (who set his wedding date for the Anniversary of Tianamen Square????. Sort of like xiden and jill going on their honeymoon to Communist Hungary (they did you know- and what on earth FOR? Would have to ask Tom Lantos, but he’s dead).
And Vivek is for— Vivek. Nothing wrong with that- but it is not based in Patriotism. And... lighten up Francis.
Good one— have been asking people recently if they knew who obamaumao’s “hero” is. It’s the Italian Marxist Gramsci!
The vilest a@@ ever—as you say, not human.
At today’s speech, Harris mentioned “We believe in the collective.” She used the word collective several times, so Walz implying a commune might not be too far off.
As in “ME- Nasty!”?? There is something wrong with this clown— and was probably wrong from when he was in China. Yet another banner carrier for Belt and Road. Not good for much else.
Pelosi does it too, it's the "I'm not handcuffed yet" sign.
Waco somewhere— many years ago. After which he was roommates in college with John McCuen, who taught him banjo.
John being an original founder of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Between the two acts they created and supported an entire catalogue of Americana talent— back when.
I’ve had Indian coworkers, and even drivers who made a mistake on the road, make that gesture to me out of simple respect. I guess some Americans might do it in return, if they are familiar with the culture.
But I notice that Walz does that WEIRD thing of putting his hand over his heart, as if he’s pledging the flag; and Harris is doing it too.
It’s all just an act, just as pretending they see someone they recognize in the crowd and pointing at them is.
These people don’t have any sincere feelings about anything; they’re just playing a game.
I bet Luther would have loved to have seen Elvis’s firearm collection.... heh. Down for the peeps and all “in the ghetto”. Poor Elvis and his many addictions. Which reminds of another tune by a now dead friend:
Enjoy Steve Cropper and Duck Dunn on the track
“Just Like New” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMa1newRMVA
Universal lib Virtue Signal
“He’s a Lutheran not a Presbyterian.”
A difference without a distinction?
That’s a keeper! Good one! “See: no cuffs, yet!”
The Namaste is a simple hand gesture (sometimes accompanied with the word) that Indians use as a greeting or sign of respect - a little like the Asian practice of bowing:
