"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.

As for China, why make the assumption I'm not keeping up with China's failings? They may not be able to afford (on several levels) to invade Taiwan.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has provided an update to an investigation related to allegations that the Democratic fundraising operation ActBlue is involved in illicit activities.
“ActBlue has cooperated with our ongoing investigation. They have changed their requirements to now include ‘CVV’ codes for donations on their platform,” Paxton said in the press release.
“This is a critical change that can help prevent fraudulent donations.”
Paxton added that “suspicious activity on fundraising platforms must be fully investigated to determine if any laws have been broken.”
This alleged “suspicious activity” by ActBlue in Texas has been an ongoing point of contention.
Current Revolt first reported on the investigation into ActBlue and the allegedly illegitimate donations last week.
Journalist James O’Keefe recently produced a series of videos where he purported to show alleged money laundering by ActBlue in Texas.

Fraud in gold sales: Yup. china is where all the fake gold bars and coins come from. One of our local coin dealers got burned for 40,000$ when he bought a handful of supposed gold ingots. Good looking pieces. Nice numbers and proofs. Even passed the wipe test. But they were gold over lead. The only give-away was the bar thickness which the dealer forgot to check. These things had been sold for, as I recall, about 40 bucks apiece. But the dealer bought them at spot which had been about 2,500$ at the time.

1) So remember Trump pollster Tony Fabrizio saying Cackles would get 2 weeks of good polling? I think more like four, but even then Cackles is cracking. CNBC has Trump +2, Rasmussen has Trump +5, in the swing states Basham’s Democracy Project has Trump +2 in Pennsylvania, 3 in Michigan, and 4 in Wisconsin. Marquette has Trump +1 with registered voters in Wisconsin, =1 with “likely” voters. And this poll has Trump ahead of Cackles with New York Jewish voters.
2) Tampon Timmy’s “stolen valor” issues are not going away. J.D. Vance laid into him, even before it was discovered that he misleadingly said his “battalion” had deployed to Afghanistan, suggesting he went with them. He did not. He was safe in Italy. And one of my favorite libs, Ruy Teixeira, warns that just “appearing” to move to the middle isn’t the same thing as having policies that appeal to the middle, and that it’s risky. Cackles ain’t doin’ much better. Even after supporting an arms embargo against Israel in Detroit, she still got heckled.
3) In an important senate race, Tim Sheehy in Montana is up 2 over Testicles (John Tester). He has always proven resilient but this may be the year to oust him. To me, right now, this race IS the Senate. We will win West Virginia, so Montana would be +2 and a majority plus Vance as a tie breaker.
