No Ben Carson?
No I like Sarah Sanders.
Female yes but no token. Brilliant mind excellent communicator high energy. Totally vetted and solid. Qualifies. Would make a great president.
Ramadangasingalong talks a good game, but I have a nagging “don’t trust” feeling about him.
I still like Tulsi.
josh hawley would be awesome.
Doug Burgum?
If we MUST have a BLACK man, (I am better than all of you, since I capitalized ALL the letters and made them extra black and bold!) how about Larry Elder?
I only like it be person that can help Trump get more votes which isn’t Vivek.
More pimping for ineligible Ramaswammy. The list is BS, whos is promoting Robinson, Hawley, Noem?
He's a smooth talker, for sure. Could articulate the agenda better than Trump and have the intelligence to be able to back it up. I feel the same about Tulsi. Would be nice to have a hot VP, but I don't trust her based on her background, though not much different from Trump's, affiliation wise.
Why is this list filed with unqualified people? Anyone with a political career is part of the Swamp and thus, not qualified.
The Vivek guy is qualified. General Flynn is. Ben Carson is. Most on the list are not.
38 YEARS OLD..
If by some miracle Trump got re-elected, Vivek could carry on the torch of MAGA for 8 more years.
I'm in.
Who?
He should pick JIM Robinson!
There is no Doug Burgum in the poll.
Full stop no on Vivek. No track record, questionable past relationships with Soros.
I’ll repeat myself…
There is a basic reality in terms of the Presidential candidacy, and by proxy Veep.
Over the years, The Presidency went from a job where the nation wanted a guy who had ideas and leadership qualities, to sort of like the slot for lead singer in Van Halen.
You can have a killer frontman like David Lee Roth, who excites and slays live and propels the band creatively, but who is a trainwreck in terms of everything else.
You can get Sammy Hagar, who is ultra competent but not terribly motivating and not your primary pick for frontman.
Then there is Gary Cherone, who is great in Extreme but lost in VH.
Trump is Diamond Dave. Bidet is Cherone. DeSantis is Sammy.
Personally, I would rather we get a Sammy president. DeSantis was Sammy, but he sort of flopped once he moved out of 2,000-seat venues to Madison Square Garden.
Reagan was Sammy, with a touch of DLR like when he joked about bombing the Soviets and “there you go again…”
That was then.
In 2024, America isn’t voting for competency. We are voting for the Frontman of America. And maybe that’s ok - maybe we NEED a Frontman more than a vocalist right now.
In this contest, the nation and populism want Diamond Dave. And Dave is unifying people like nobody-look at the rappers with Trump in The Bronx. It’s stunning.
But we need to be honest with ourselves. Trump is a train wreck in terms of personnel choices, and he can get carried away with social media. True, we got solid SCOTUS picks and abortion overturned, a cranking economy, and no wars. But after Eat ‘Em & Smile, Dave jumped the shark. Let’s hope he retains Steve Vai, Gregg Bissonette, and and Billy Sheehan in 2024.
Trump will win the Diamond Dave vote, which will be drawn to a guy who just lost a case. Bidet will get the Gary Cherone vote (and again, Cherone is awesome with Extreme; Bidet was never awesome, but work with me).
As for Veep, it’s the same deal…we want a red meat Frontman or Frontwoman. Not a policy wonk, not a businessman, etc.
The closest Veep candidate meeting that need, is Elise Stefanik. She’s got TWO Ivy League scalps, and she hasn’t wiped the blood off her mouth. Experience? RINO? That’s what they said about Trump in 2015.
That is why as qualified as the other Veep candidates may be, like it or not Elise Lee Roth is what will garner votes. And perhaps Elise is Wolfgang, and can let us get two tours with Eddie and Roth before the band terminates.
Make her VP, Trump wins, and Elise Lee Roth clobbers whatever jack wagon the Dems put up in 2028, like Kamala or some Dixie Chick.
Ultimately, regardless of who gets into the WH, never forget….the American People are Eddie, Michael, and Alex-a monster band that is invariant to the guy in the singer slot. WE run the nation.
No, thanks. Looks like 80% of Freepers are smarter than that.
I’m a definite “No” on Vivek. I’m also a definite “No” on Stefanik. Not crazy about Burghum either.
I would be good with DeSantis or Carson. Thinking out of the box, I would also be good with Mike Huckabee or Rick Santorum. Sarah Huckabee Sanders would be better than most, too.
Garbage in, garbage out. Vivek is not that popular on free Republic. He’s just another carpetbagging Bindu supremacist.
