Ramadangasingalong talks a good game, but I have a nagging “don’t trust” feeling about him.

I still like Tulsi.

There is no Doug Burgum in the poll.

Full stop no on Vivek. No track record, questionable past relationships with Soros.

I just did a ChatGPT 4o check of the last 30 days and the response is: In the past 30 days, the discussions on Free Republic about Vivek Ramaswamy as a potential vice presidential candidate show a mix of opinions, with a significant lean towards opposition

I’m a definite “No” on Vivek. I’m also a definite “No” on Stefanik. Not crazy about Burghum either.

I would be good with DeSantis or Carson. Thinking out of the box, I would also be good with Mike Huckabee or Rick Santorum. Sarah Huckabee Sanders would be better than most, too.

Garbage in, garbage out. Vivek is not that popular on free Republic. He’s just another carpetbagging Bindu supremacist.

Ask it many ways and get many answers:

Kristi Noem

Favorable: 40%

Opposing: 60%

Tulsi Gabbard

Favorable: 27.27%

Opposing: 72.73%

Vivek Ramaswamy

Favorable: 36.36%

Opposing: 63.64%

Ben Carson

Favorable: 71.43% Opposing: 28.57%

Elise Stefanik

Favorable: 66.67%

Opposing: 33.33%

J.D. Vance

Its missing data that is not there - Freepers who have not expressed a VP preference.

With a VP candidate, you at least need to not do any harm to the ticket. Since Vivek is Hindu, that would likely cause many—probably millions—of conservative Christians to stay home. There is nobody among those mentioned who would do more harm to the ticket than Vivek. Stefanik would also do a great deal of harm.

Remember this,
I’m sure Trump considers any VP he chooses will be the next president after him.
That is why Obama chose Biden, someone he could manipulate
as Democrats all march in straight leg lock step.

Pubbies not so much, so it is more difficult to make decisions as to your successor if you want an agenda to survive.

I would take a governor over a Senator, and I’d take “none of the above” and a “totally unexpected” choice over all them. Trump the non-politician politician should pick another non-politician.
