A caregiver has been caught viciously beating a 93-year-old dementia patient with a soiled diaper before trying to choke her out in horrific footage released by police.
Dontia Shawnra Arrington, 26, has been charged for allegedly assaulting the vulnerable patient at Landings of Genesee Valley in Flint, Michigan on April 4.
The attack was caught on nanny cam, which was placed in the victim's room after her daughter noticed 'handprint bruises' on her mother as far back as December.
'I'm watching and all I kept saying was, 'My mom,' you know? 'Why are you doing this to my mom?' She's 93, 5-foot tall, a little 130-pound lady,' she told a press conference where the video was shown. 'Horrified. Just horrified.'
Footage shows Arrington repeatedly smashing a full diaper over the victim's head while she sits helplessly in her wheelchair and raises her arms in defense.

nee Stoltzfus ?
‘… Well anyone ask what they are teaching people, what kind of citizens they are creating?’
Bingo. A standard American culture, societal expectations, Judeo-Christian values, etc. are set aside. Instead it is Marxist programming, DEI, dumbing down of society, lack of good and righteous role models, division of people and complete disregard for the rule of law.
Traditional values are the answer. Having enough influential brave people willing to drive change to come forward, is the problem. Until then Shenequateesha will cry over her bastard child’s gang related death (he was going to be a famous rapper when he quit school at 16) but white people and the lack of funding for midnight basketball surely held him back…
What an ugly animal, inside and out. If I saw her assaulting a helpless elder, I’d grab the nearest heavy object and make her uglier, if that’s possible. I cannot stand bullies of any sort.
Back in 1992, an AA nurse physically abused my grandmother, who was terminally ill. My grandmother cried about that pain until she took her last breath two weeks later.
I couldn’t say anything because when I was gone, my grandmother was at her mercy.
I remember your face. I remember your name.
I’m not sure if it is Africa or the indoctrination and the warped system that has gone on for generations due to unscrupulous manipulation for power by Democrats and some RINO.
Back before welfare the average black families embodied the virtues that allowed success. They have a record of church going, and a commitment to a moral and family centered life.
With the widespread victim mentality it is hard to get unbiased information but there have always been black entrepreneurs, scientists, teachers, authors. It is nothing about Africa or those people would not exist...Ben Carson, Judge Thomas, Henry Parks (Parks Sausages), Thomas Sowell to name just a few.
When my mom died of cancer 16 years ago
We had 2-3 helpers in the home the last year
It took forever to get my stubborn mom to go along
But it was a very very long ranch house with master at one end and kitchen and breakfast room at the other literally 40 yards away and she’d make the trek defiantly all 85 pounds of her (former miss Mississippi 1952)
Big house
Her friends laid down the law to me
Make her take help
It was not cheap 24/7
One was a country woman who was nice but tried to glom hospice meds at the conclusion (I thwarted her but kept all meds I paid for)
Another was a college gal who was sweet but a bit overwhelmed
My oldest girl helped too
But our best was an older black woman accustomed to dealing with an old white woman from Mississippi lol
And we’d laugh about it
“Lily id like my crust trimmed off my sandwich please”
Mom and her little bell
Anyhow I am not one to defend blacks knee jerk and qualify everything
But lily was damn good help
And she got a great bonus at the end
You do that with caregivers in the white South
Before scolds get started
I lived 45 miles away and had boys 1 and 6 and 8 at home with my rib and two teen girls
And worked seven days a week like now lol
But I traveled down to Murfreesboro every single day from 5/6 to 11/12 at night then drove back to green hills in music city
To visit and just take care of stuff or watch her shows with her
She’d let me even have a cigar in the house and the Doberman could even sleep by the bed
The worm had turned lol
Dealing with dying parents which we’ve done three times plus an elderly aunt too is an honor and duty and love
I am glad I experienced it even as shotcaller which can be trying
But I’d pick a genial old black woman in Dixie anyday
Especially since most also cook very well
Just my two cents
They are the only ones willing to work for what the facility is paying.
My mom had dementia. We took care of her as long as we could. Then a home for 5 months. Horrible. She wanted to die and it it broke all our hearts to see her basically wilt away to nothing.
We need a way to ethically terminate a life in a well planned and organized way.
So folks don’t have to be taken care of by folks who make $12/hour and simply don’t give a shit. It is so expensive and even decent places have questionable care.
Good points.
Government schools have been preaching racial hate for decades.
“’allegedly’ assaulting”
Seriously?
Thus would stop instantly if they’d make the owners of the nursing homes criminally liable.
It can happen anywhere, especially with low-IQ staff with prejudices.
Oh, I don’t believe that. You? Nah. What’s for dinner?
Yep.
But why leave her with your mama for 4 more months?
yep.
It’s them again, Yogi.

I knew it had to be an Asian Amish person
“But I’d pick a genial old black woman in Dixie anyday”
You’re describing a dying breed. Older black women have genuune faith in the creator and they have soul. They probably had husbands too.
Very different type of human being then the letitia james or joy reid types.
