I've noticed that for quite a while, there has been a series of television commercials for Sensodyne toothpaste where a female dentist promotes the benefits of using this product. There have been about 6-7 of these commercials. What's interesting is that only female dentists (or actors depicting a dentist) are featured wearing a white lab coat and all appear to be from a minority group e.g. black, Hispanic, Asian.
I have never seen a male dentist or a white female dentist featured in these ads. I suppose this is part of "woke" and DIE.
Anyone else have another explanation?
IF you DO see a white female, it’s ALWAYS with a black male in every commercial, nowadays.
There is no other explanation other than antiwhite bigotry.
That is probably the basis, though I doubt you were concerned when such commercials used to always feature only white men.
Ever seen a male Dental hygienist?.............
“There is no other explanation other than antiwhite bigotry.”
What’s sad is white Americans are just rolling over for this crap. Heck, those under 40 have been indoctrinated to believe it’s justified.
The product is only for non-white people.
I get YouTubeTV. Their ads are so black you think you are in Africa. White males are used when they need someone to look stupid. Just saw a new one by Uber Eats. The insurance companies have several where White males look stupid.
I refuse to purchase anything from any company that has signed on to this crap because my inherent privilege doesn’t allow me to have any business dealings with minorities or those that push them anymore, but I also don’t really watch TV.
TV ads are false advertising with all those mixed couples that you never see in real life ,LOL
LOL!
I once had a conversation with my brother about him seeing a female doctor. He said it made him uncomfortable. I told him that women had been having to see male doctors for a very long time.
He said, “I never thought about that...”
Anyone else have another explanation?
That’s what all corporations and advertising firms are doing now.
I don’t know what scheme might be behind the Sensodyne commercials. But I do know the stuff works. I use it, and my sensitive teeth problems are gone.
I probably should say that I use a toothpaste with the same ingredients as Sensodyne. The key is to find a similar and cheaper product made in America. No Chinese toothpaste for me.
Side point: I’m okay with having pretty women in the Sensodyne commercials. Maybe Sensodyne is banking on that.
Commercials prefer POC actors. If you see White actors or actresses they are paired with persons of color, but I don’t see that white female-African American male couple are that common. But maybe it depends on where you live.
Male hygienists are out there if only a few.
I’m sure it is a DEI push but in my experience of the last 20 yrs.... all the young dentists are ladies of Pakistani or Indian or Asian descent. I imagine a dentist is a “good” job from a 1st generation immigrant perspective. It wouldn’t be wrong but it’s not anything my teenagers and their friends discuss studying.
