Interesting. I had read somewhere that it was a flim against George W Bush and Iraq war. I didn’t see your theory of Christians stopping the trafficking. For me what I got out of the film was more the hero’s journey to escape nightmare and get home to his family. End scene if I recall was of hero and wife glimpsing new ship in water near their home meaning new nightmare. But do you see something different?
I previously noted that the electrician that poisoned himself by chewing on the wire coating itself. The lead was in that colored coating. I want to mention something else the pothead boil. It's really not good because those fumes containing lead particulates are the most dangerous. The smaller the particulate the more easily it is absorbed into the human body where it can do it's dastardly deeds. It is the dust from deteriorated lead based paint that is ingested and with time builds up in the body that is a much larger hazard overall as compared to a random paint chip. However, to a small child the sweetness of a Lead based paint chip is an attractant.
This makes me even more confident that I support the right people!

Also, the concern with lead bullets and fishing weights is that the animals are eating them and being poisoned or being shot with them but not killed. They got lead poisoning instead. I think I read that they traced lead pellets and bullets to eagle deaths. It’s been a long time ago.

Not so many weird incidents compared to the overall number of people that have been poisoned by lead.
Lead is a helpful tool in many ways, it's just that the problem is that it's a toxin that can kill in large enough amounts (and I'm not talking bullets). It does a good job of protecting against all types of radiation, even the x-rays that Dr's. take of our bodies when necessary. Incidentally,our brain is the one organ in our bodies that aren't effected by radiation. That's why they put the lead blanket on the rest of our body when doing an x-ray of our teeth.
Most importantly, the meme states "The truth of the matter is that they removed this paint to make their silent weapons more effective against us." What I am telling you and the others who see how ludicrous that statement is, that the meme doesn't deserve any place in this thread because it is "B" as in B and "S" as in S - short hand for BS. Now the Derps plans include evil intent, but the lead based paint issue is not a part of it.
If I recall, lead is one of those heavy metals that accumulates in the body, doesn’t get filtered out or excreted very readily, so a tiny amount isn’t a huge issue but many tiny amounts adds up to enough to cause real harm.
Lead, in itself, is a very stable material. Great insulator for radiation as noted, a great protectant in paint, doesn’t rust or corrode, and melts at a low point. Making it ideal for many applications.
In the power industry, we painted steel transmission line towers with lead paint in the distant past, but now use a zinc-based protectant paint. You have to protect that steel with something or it will rust and degrade. Lead was cheap and plentiful, which is why it was used.
My friend casts his own bullets out of lead (with a little bit of antimony), but he takes some serious precautions. Well-ventilated area, away from the house, washes up thoroughly when done. And heats it enough to melt without creating a great deal of vapors in the first place.
Lead is/was great for many purposes - BUT, but, but - it’s toxic. We people didn’t really know the level of toxicity of lead back in the day. My dad and uncle, in the 1930s, used to make toy soldiers out of lead. pour the melted lead into molds and cast them. That was a thing back then.

My main concern is that it’s a heavy metal. At the place I retired from, we used mercury for 30 years before changing to lead. While using mercury, we had to take a pee test every 3-6 months to check for mercury poisoning. A lot of people had it. I don’t want to be poisoned by either one.
I am following the body-double issues with Brandon, and I’m not convinced either way, however, the person addressing NATO right now has attached earlobes and brown eyes. The supposed ‘real’ Brandon supposedly has unattached earlobes and blue eyes. Thoughts?
