Q has reminded us repeatedly that together, we are strong. As the false "narrative" is destroyed and the divisive machinery put in place by the Deep State fails, the fact that patriotism has no skin color or political party is exposed for all to see.
In the battle between those who strip us our constitutional rights, we can't afford to let false divisions separate us any longer. We, and our country, will be forever made stronger by diligently seeking the truth, independence and freedom of thought.
Where We Go 1, We Go All
11 years on this island and I have never seen so many people in town for the Independence Day celebrations.
The harbor was crammed with cruising yachts. The streets were crowded with Out-of-Towners wearing matching (Cruise ship) jackets and T-shirts.
Parades, log rolling, herring toss, plank race, food, Food FOOD and MORE FOOD!... All the small town celebrations you can imagine. The Volunteer Fire Department, The Sons of Norway, Devils Thumb Shooters,...Main Street closed for three days of celebrating.
Did I mention fireworks?
Just WOW!
“Alaska’s Little Norway” threw a classic American 4th of July celebration in the blistering 65 degree weather.
Vanity
Everybody here has guns. Not everybody can afford fireworks. I’d think they would be cheaper than shotgun shells but it’s a country thing, I guess. The sheriff’s department looks the other way. :-)

We did a lot of dumb things when we were kids. I just let this generation be kids. Most of us survived it. Most of them will too. Country kids are the best.
The grill sounds great! Most of the time, our local Fire department holds a big bash. They dig a big pit and roast a whole hog in the ground. The women bring potato salad, baked beans, and all the trimmings. I’m sure they did this year but we couldn’t go. There isn’t much better than a pit roasted hog that has been cooking in the pit all day until dark.

“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” number 1 for the weekend, was beaten by something “Sound of Freedom,” a Christian movie from a small, sketchy film company that doesn’t actual say it’s Christian.
“Sound of Freedom” –which took in a shocking $14 million on its opening day — is said to be based on actual events, although many question its veracity. It stars Jim Cavaziel, the star of Mel Gibson’s “Passion of the Christ,” and Eduardo Verástegui, who is also listed as the producer. Verástegui long ago starred in a little indie film called “Bella,” that won kudos on the festival circuit. He had little luck after that until he turned to faith based filmmaking. For a time he was very close to Kathie Lee Gifford, who herself has made a career in that world after leaving the “Today” show and moving to Nashville.
