My son should probably have overridden my wishes and called an ambulance. He knew how much I valued my appointment today, an appointment I had waited some time for, which will set me up for something else in June.
After my appointment I came home and slept for two hours; IOW, no, I didn't call a Dr. However, I seem to be mostly recovered this evening, so... My primary Dr (for about 25 years) introduces me as a doctor; he trusts my medical knowledge. Unfortunately I am turning 80 in a few weeks; even I keep warning him I ain't as sharp as I used to be.
My GI Dr seems to only want to do colonoscopies and EGD's. I need to find a replacement. My symptoms were classic for a bowel obstruction but that would be a wild guess - and the obstruction will pass in time with a little care. I knew if I went to the ER they could give me a shot of muscle relaxant to reduce the pain of cramps and keep me in observation for a day - and I would miss my appointment. 😕 Also, my local hospital is not what it once was, and all these illegals pouring in are not helping that pitfall.
That sort of medically self assured thinking can lead to mistakes; if it happens again I will react differently - I hope. 🙏

I know. I’ve wondered for over a year, what “too much” means. Just incomprehensible, for me, including global affairs and tyranny, war and rumors of war. The US is woke, broke and borrowing. There is no cliff, apparently.🥴

It would appear that “too much” is a great deal more than what we’re currently seeing. As incredible as that seems, I’ve come to understand that some people have been so asleep as to qualify as comatose. Their awakening is going to have to be quite rude, so we should expect the insanity to continue for awhile.

I think I am more disappointed in BAR. Even with conclusive evidence that Ms. Goldwasser's proposal was at least 60 years old - they ignored it. I suppose it is a sign of our times. I subsequently terminated my subscription to BAR - not really just because of that. There were other signs of carelessness plus the expense of the subscription.
Harari says that God's creation of man is flawed, but we can improve on that. Isn't that exactly what the serpent said to Eve in the Garden? Then you add all the other claims and ideas of the (man) and the conclusion of him being a false prophet is not far fetched. Is Harari the false prophet? Who can say? However he is uniquely placed in the heart of a globalist movement to achieve those ends.
When I review Harari's ideas I am doubly glad that I don't have a smart phone. It is getting harder and harder to do any sort of business without one, I admit. The pressure in that direction is becoming enormous; if I live too many more years they may have to terminate me! 😂 😇
