I so enjoyed watching and wanted to share this, for anyone who might be interested. Talk of rabbit holes, global dark forces, Christianity, just the whole shabang... and at the same time, lots of fun and laughter. It was a delightful respite for me.

I watched the short video. Basically train derailments have been going up because train maintenance has worsened. The video blames this on the increasing consolidation of the rail industry, creating virtual monopolies which choose to emphasize reducing short-term costs rather than long-term sustainability.
I don't know if I buy that. Back in the day, AT&T -- because of its monopoly -- took a very long-term view of things. I suspect it has as much to do with the quarterly focus of Wall Street (as required by federal law) as it has to do with monopolization. And with the use of the railroads to ship oil that should have gone through a pipeline instead.

I’m in a rush and overloaded...my excuse for not listening.
Most interesting and somewhat coincidental. I used to build that stuff as well as teach others how to do it. There’s a lot to be not quite told about how well they work. Whenever we put on new equipment sometimes I got taken hostage for sea trials. Seems the sailors liked a hand-hold when trying out the new stuff.
Getting boats ready to go under the ice is a world all by itself.
Cincinnati, you say? You know we parked it on 29 July 1996? While I’m not a trivia freek it just happens I know that because I have a piece of the hull sitting right in front of me. I machined off two sides so I could do a neat job of blueing and marking it and now it’s one of the neatest paperweights ever. It still has the inner and outer hull paint on the other two sides. Whined and blubbered (pathetic but sometimes you have to lower your standards) to the torch guys to save a few pieces when they started cutting it up.
And I’ll bet you noticed you were in a quiet place?

ANYONE WHO TRIES TO DO A Jan 6 should be cuffed with Zip ties and suffer a “Citizen’s Arrest” searched for his FBI card or cell phone. Held until they can be given up to the police. Anyone caught breaking things should also suffer “Citizen’s Arrest” If they resist—taken down videotaped and cuffed. Only those who resist! Video tape every action! Make sure you get their faces too! FBI Tools don’t like that. NO MORE Jan 6 Events! No garish costumes! No viking horns! or anything stupid. No CSA Flags, Nazi Flags, Russian Flags, Only Betsy Ross or Trump Flags! Maybe traffic vests like our French Brothers. Light aluminum Flag poles—No Clubs disguised as Flagpoles. If you must chant or sing—Make it God Bless America The pledge of allegiance, The Star Spangled Banner. Or the Battle hymn of the Republic.
