It was always unsustainable. The only question was how long the LGBT political movement would bask in the glory of its inarguably successful obliteration of traditional societal norms and sexual mores before they took the time to notice. But with #LGBdroptheT trending on Twitter multiple times over the course of the last week or two, it seems apparent that at least in certain quarters, the revolutionaries are doing what revolutionaries always do: turn on each other.

I've written on more than one occasion about what far more people than just I have been anticipating for quite some time. Namely, the inevitable clash between gay ideology and transgender theory. Transgenderism relies entirely upon the non-existence of a gender binary, assuming a sliding scale of gender identity that denies there even is such thing as truly "male" or truly "female." Needless to say, there can be no gay man if there is no such thing as a man. There can be no lesbian if there is no such thing as a woman.
Beyond just that, the transgender movement has brought excess cultural baggage that involves the erasure of sex distinctions in athletics, public locker rooms, bathrooms, dressing rooms, the denial of biological realities, coining of pretend pronouns with bizarre sounding names like zir, mix, and zhe, and even the attempted normalization of age-inappropriate drag performances for children.
None of that has anything to do with the original objectives, intents, and purposes of the lesbian, gay, and even bisexual equality movement. And it seems as though there is a growing, and increasingly vocal contingent of those individuals who have had enough.

That "slippery slope" admission is an interesting one. In the early days of opposition to the gay rights movement, conservatives warned that once traditional moral guideposts for sexuality were removed on the basis of emotional preferences, they could not later be arbitrarily thrown back down into the ground to deny other claims made upon the same basis. "Merry" is begrudgingly acknowledging that despite claims to the contrary, the conservative warning has indeed proved accurate.
Her embarrassment stems from how far it has gone.

There is also palpable anger surfacing from the transgender movement's appalling treatment of women and the entire concept of femininity.

Perhaps one of the most obvious examples of this is the silencing of women in athletics – from high school, through college, all the way to professional sports – a topic I've attempted to draw attention to on more than one occasion.
But it's important to note that the opposition isn't all superficial emotionalism. There's an emerging awareness of what I mentioned above – that trans ideology represents a fundamental threat to gay identity.

"Gay-denying" indeed. With such an awareness settling in, it's no wonder there is such anger manifesting within the alphabet alliance.

It's ironic, isn't it? As traditional conservatives, and even outspoken, high-profile Christian preachers publicly muse about potentially acquiescing to the reality-denying pronoun preferences, it's lesbian and gay activists demanding an end to the madness for the sake of our children.
That’s the (+) part...................
I have always been 100% sure the feminist movement would eventually wake the hell up and turn on the MEN pretending to be women in sports.
For me the correct definition of LGBT is Liberty, Guns, Bibles, Trump.
.1% of 5% of the population dominating all of Hollywood, Democrat politician administrations and Democrat local governments. They are stealing whatever ‘oxygen’ and halfways sentiment for the LGB movement and pushing it into general American populace revulsion and kickback for the whole movement.
Looks like a few cracks appearing in the dyke...so to speak.
With LGB it meant “people who don’t do sex the normal way.” The T had nothing to do with how people had sex. It was tacked on to the LGB so as to create a larger group with more political power.
The series of letters kept growing until it became LGBTQIA+. I have no idea what they all mean, and I don’t care. All it is now is an ever-expanding whiney victim group that never stops annoying the hell out of the rest of us.
I always thought “gay” referred to either men or women....
Gay guys and gay women...
“Let’s hope they never introduce animals into the mix.”
I think they already have. In my home town is a gay bar with some strange flags flying outside. One of the flags has a paw print on it, and I’m guessing that’s for bestiality.
ISYDT...........................
The narratives of the two parts of “LBG” & “T” have diverged over deeper differences held by the two parts as to what “sex”/”gender” is.
Most “LBG” folks do not hold diparaging feelings or “out of touch” identities with their natural biological sex and see that sex as their gender. The “LBG” part is all about feelings of desire and “romance” not biological rejection of the person they are. And, they recognize those biological differences as very much a part of who they are.
Most “LBG” folks are holding to the idea that in sports men and women should be competing with people of the same biological sex identity. It is helpful in that that it is many well known and famous “LBG” folks taking that position.
It is a start in forming the separation of the “T”s into a less well supported minority on many policy issues.
One of them is how the “T” agenda has spread into the “support the drag shows” agenda, yet a “drag queen” is not a “transgender” person most of the time, just some bilogical male with a mixed up fethish of liking to parade around in female impersonation costumes. And, it nearly always becomes a slutty intertretation of that genre as well. That whole narrative has no place among our immature children. It is 100% pure and simple “adult entertainment”, if that.
The Gs and the Ls will lose this fight - the Qs and Ts will take it over.
I am most concerned that the elites are going start pushing sex with telephone poles—that could cause power outages!
;-)
Nope, that’s their anchor and they can all ride it to the bottom.
Drag queens are to women as blackface is to Blacks.
I used to work with a gay guy who liked to dress up as Bette Davis or Joan Crawford during the gay Halloween party season, but he definitely liked being male and being attracted to men.
What I don't get is why the gay men of today like to do such sissy things. One would think gay dudes would the the manliest of men who are so manly they like men more than women. What happened to the manly gay man lifestyle of ancient Greece?
Yes it definitely needs to get ugly. Every time we have the opportunity we need to associate each group with the worst of the other, hold them to an unattainable standard, and then mock them and trigger them into action-voilent or otherwise against the other groups. Feed their anger and gode them into irrational actions, and sit back and watch them devour each other. Each of us can do this at a personal level with those around us.

What a bunch of haters these LGBs are!
They sound so non-inclusive.
The Ts are queer as the others, but with an added layer of mental illness.
“What I don’t get is why the gay men of today like to do such sissy things.”
I do think some “gay” men are not truly mixed up or non-identifying about their biological sex, but have had something or things, behavior events, externally stimulated or not, where the fetish - and I consider it a fetish - to “impersonate” “the weaker sex” came forward. It is not difficult to notice that this fetish happens extremely more frequently among “gay” men impersonating women than “gay” women impersonating men. There are obviously psychological differences housed in the biological sex differences that drives why it happens less frequently with women.
I think the “gay” community has seen this genre trend up and down over the decades, with it very prominent and public in the 50s, with very famous “drag queen balls” and contests in some big cities like New York, then to almost disappear except at “Holloween” parades through the 70s, 80s and 90s at least. I think it’s somewhat recent “revival” is totally connected to pushing the “trans” agenda.
