Then, why did Biden advisor, Brian Deese, say this war about about defending "the liberal world order"? He let the cat out of the bag.
The fact remains our corrupt political class and their allies have made millions in Ukraine with the help of corrupt oligarchs. The defense industry has made fortune in Ukraine and because of this war. You're either dishonest or naïve to think all that isn't a major factor in the decisions the Biden regime is making regarding this war.

I believe Putin intended to take all of Ukraine and depending on the response to that conquest hoped to move on to the Baltic countries (and at least a piece of Moldova).
I also believe Putin had an agreement with Xi where he delayed his invasion of Ukraine until after the Olympics. I think Xi was considering invading Taiwan and wanted to see what happened in Ukraine first.
Either an attack on the Baltic states or Taiwan would lead to a world war. Everyone is tired of the constant comparisons to appeasement in the 1930s, but this time I think there are strong parallels.
Of course not. And every civilized nation who doesn't want the world to sink into World War III should be working to stop Russia's invasion. Just like the world should have been working harder to stop Hitler immediately after his invasion of Poland.

I guess you forgot about our commitments to NATO. If Putin isn't stopped in Ukraine he'll be invading Latvia or Estonia and our sons will be the kids fighting on the front lines. As much as I hate to see any young people fighting I'd rather see Ukrainians fighting Russians than Americans fighting Russians.
