Meteorites are not ‘flaming rocks of doom,' NASA says
The “bright fireball” was traveling at 35,000 mph when it exploded at 8:03 a.m. with the “energy equivalent of 3 tons of TNT,” according to NASA Meteor Watch, the agency's project that tracks fireball activity.
“Existing law states that any meteorites belong to the owner of the property on which they fell; out of respect for the privacy of those in the area, we will not disclose the locations of these finds,”
And finding anything of value is likely harder than you think.
“The pieces from this object were way too small to leave a crater. Unlike what you see in the movies, meteorites are not ‘flaming rocks of doom’ that blast holes in the ground. In fact, you can pick one up right after it hits ground. So no smoking rocks in small craters.”

I don’t think I could even afford to breathe the air around the Trumps, but I’d still like to shake his hand and thank him for doing such a good job against idiotic enemies who hate him just because he breathes.

Further info from the James is that they’re going to call tomorrow or Monday to arrange a background check (he has no background) and a drug test (he doesn’t use drugs), so it looks like they plan to hire him. He would work at the park near us, mainly, doing maintenance, helping to set up/tear down for sporting events, and basically whatever.
I think it will be a good start at working life!
Yep. It would seem as if he has gotten this job, and if so, I’m very happy for the young man!
It sounds as if the things he would be required to do are diverse enough that he won’t have time to be bored, and that’s excellent.

It has been a bit on the warm side here and so the apples may ripen sooner then normal. I hope not. I am to busy to pick apples before September 6th.
