One of my children thinks she has “long covid”. She feels like hell and has tremors in her hands. She still won’t talk to me so I can’t even show her this. She will only listen to her doctor.

Does anyone know what to do with dirty money? I am talking about literally dirty money.
I have a bunch of change I have tried to clean several times using various substances. I don’t know what my father got on them.
Ironically, they are probably the most germ free coins in existence, but they have gunk on them still and many cannot be read. They look like something you would find in ship that sunk 300 years ago. I think they would not be read by or damage the coin counting machine at the bank.
I keep forgetting to ask the bank about this despite having to go to the bank at least once a week over something to do with the estate.

Why isn’t this being investigated?
Just because costs are increasing don’t just assume a higher estimate is valid.
Last week when me and a friend were redoing the shallow well pump in my mobile home in NH I had an HVAC guy stop by and do an estimate for a mini-split install for heating and cooling. I figured $3-4,000.
I got the estimate later that day. $12,900! I nearly fell off my chair.
So I talked to a friend of mine and he recommended a unit from Mr. Cool. I go to their website. A unit that will cover 1,500 square feet would cost me $2,700.
$12,900 installed vs $2,700 for the unit and I install it. I’ve watched videos on installing one. They make it easy as possible with very good directions.
Contractors are ripping people off.
Guess what I’ll be doing later this Spring?

This is why I am not having things fixed or replaced, like the wood floors, in my father’s house. I’ll just take a bit of a loss on the price I get. It’s easier that way and perhaps cheaper. I’m spending enough on the cleaning.
I can now stay there. Actually, up to five people can stay there now overnight and sit in the living room. at the same time and soon sit at the kitchen table. I am not sure anyone has ever sat at the kitchen table in the house.
The dining room table will end up being a sorting table for some time.
I’ve been doing a lot of bargain hunting for curtains, bath and kitchen mats, area rugs, furniture throws and such.
I’ve got to go to some garage sales to see how they are done now so I know what to do with my own.
The ballot drop boxes have started appearing in SoCal. {{sigh}}

Another worthy observation Trump made in regards to how we are increasingly hearing the call for “Trumpism without Trump” from the usual suspects. Who will the Establishment rally around in 20204? Youngkin? DeSantis? When people who never supported Trump start pushing for “Trumpism without Trump” you know to be suspicious.
It is the RINO strategy to keep their mealy little jobs as “fart cushions” for the Democrats.
It isn’t just DeSantis.
It’s Gabbard.
