The Three Gorges Dam in China is a hot topic. From yesterday noon, the release was resumed from the discharge facility of the dam. Is the crisis at the Three Gorges Dam gone? This channel provides the latest information on the Three Gorges Dam.
The water level of the Three Gorges Dam may rise again. From yesterday noon, the release was resumed from the discharge facility of the dam.As we will see in detail later, the inflow is increasing rapidly. The other day, I got information that it rained heavily in Chongqing, a big city located upstream of the dam.The water from the rain is flowing into the dam.Already, the water level at the Three Gorges Dam has reached a high level, so I think that even a small amount of rain could endanger the situation in the future.Today, I would like to tell you more about the current situation of the Three Gorges Dam.
At 2:00 pm local time on September 28, the water level at the Three Gorges Dam is 167.33 meters.Compared to the day before yesterday, it has decreased by about 80 cm, but in fact, it has increased recently. The water level is high because it is still in the 167-meter range. At the dam, there are few buffers left, so I'm curious about future developments. The local situation looks like this.Is it a light cloudy place?I told you on this channel that the rain in the Sichuan Basin has reached Chongqing, but it seems that it has finally reached Chongqing. As expected.I'll cover this in more detail later.

The dam is not in trouble
The Qtards told us that Il Donaldo was going to wipe it out
with "RODS FROM GOD"... those big Tungsten poles that somehow
got up into orbit what can be tossed at targets on the Erf.
Why, they already blew up a mountain in Korea, just ask 'em.
Yep. I’m with you. It’s holding just fine.
I’m not positive what the water level was last year, but I think this year may be a little higher than last year.
The maximum designed depth of China’s largest reservoir is 175 meters (574 feet). So they still have some more leeway, but I wonder how well they can handle long-term stress near their maximum.
Too bad.
unoff????
Gee. It’d be too bad if that dam burst and caused unprecedented damage and loss of life in one of the worst disasters the world has ever known and pretty much everyone on the planet shrugged their shoulders and said, “Darn. That’s a shame. Good luck with it.”
City runoff in China is problematic,to say the Least.
unoff???? ignore this.
“...loss of life in one of the worst disasters the world has ever known...”
CCP doesn’t care at all if they lose 400 million souls to a flood. The only thing that matters is the party.
I’m sorry to report the leading party members were touring the facility when the unfortunate accident occurred.
That dam has been dying of the same heart attack as long as Hyman Roth.
Maybe.
But, If Three Gorges failed right now, would we have the leadership to exploit it?
“The dam is not in trouble”
How do YOU know ?
If by “exploit” you mean spend US tax-payer money to repair, then yes. We have that kind of “leadership.”
Ask bert. I was agreeing with him.
I don’t know. For one thing, though, I would expect there to be a lot of activity there if there were problemss. F’instance, they would be trying to draw down the impoundment to reduce pressure on dam face.
As Jerry Seinfeld would say, that would be “a shame.”
I certainly hope we don’t send American soldiers to help out with the rescue/recovery/rebuilding efforts.
Though with Biden that’s probably exactly what will happen.
