The viral video isn’t just a record of a single ugly episode; instead, it tells where our society is heading on its current trajectory.
On Friday, a very disturbing video emerged and instantly went viral. It showed a young Amazon driver viciously punch an older woman who had been unhappy with a slow delivery. While the video is shocking on its own, it’s also a loudly clanging warning about the dangers of Critical Race Theory (“CRT”), especially when allied with other leftist doctrines commonly taught to the young, including the claim that words are violence. As CRT expands throughout America, expect more attacks like this one.
You can see the whole episode in this video. Please note that the older woman had finished speaking and was walking away from the driver, Itzel Ramirez, when Ramirez suddenly went berserk – and, as the tweet notes, Ramirez still claimed self-defense:
Doug Smith, the owner of the apartment complex, told NBC Bay Area that the resident asked Ramirez about the package after she received an alert that it had arrived. Ramirez reportedly told her to be patient. After 15 minutes went by, Ramirez was approached by the resident again.
According to the sheriff's office, Ramirez said something about “white privilege” and the resident in return called her a “[expletive].” Deputies say Ramirez then hit the older woman 10 times in the face. The woman sustained injuries to her face and head and likely suffered a broken nose, officials said.

The puppet masters must be pleased that their CRT efforts show signs that it is working to cause a race war.
It was brutal....
...I do hope Amazon can be held accountable!
Yeah. Hope she gets more than one year of free prime
the only way it will stop...
And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!
Solzhenitsyn
she was on the clock....Amazon better cough up....
Wonder if Amazon knows or cares who they hire.
Is the perp an illegal? Is she who she says she is? Does she have a rap sheet?
For once I see the need for a good lawyer.
Hope the family sues. Discovery would an eye-opener, I’ll wager.
But I bet Amazon can buy off the family, complete with NDA.
Amazon, one of these days you’re going to victimize the wrong family.
“.I do hope Amazon can be held accountable!”
If Amazon had reports on the driver being violent in the past, then, yes. But if they followed all the relevant laws and regulations and conducted whatever legal due diligence is required, no. Note that some states are making it illegal to do background checks. Also, some venues are making it illegal to not hire because of prison records, etc.
Oh yes indeedy Amazon can and will be held civilly liable under agency law.
Probably looking at a settlement of $10 MM. $1Mm for each hit.
“Unintended Consequences” ????
A MUST read!
Under agency law Employers or contracting agencies are responsible for the torts committed by their agents while performing duties.
In this case delivering packages is 100% acting as an agent of Amazon. The uniform just cements it.
The violence is the big thing, and the violence is completely unacceptable.
But also, the double standard on verbal stuff needs to go. The Amazon driver starts it up with a verbal attack about white privilege. I don't care about precise wording. It's a racial verbal attack. The victim responded with her own racial verbal attack. I don't see that second attempt as "over the line" or "worse" than the Amazon worker's attack. If they keep it verbal, then one attack is the same as the next.
But, of course, I'm a minority on that point. The white person "crossed the line" and "was asking for it" and therefore the black person was "justified" in a vicious physical attack. Is that how society ought to operate? I don't think so.
If the Amazon worker had been professional and polite, nothing would have happened. But she felt disrespected, and her poor impulse control kicked in.
Amazon's lawyers and accountants are working on an out-of-court settlement amount. Amazon's Human Resources department is already working on the mandatory "don't assault customers" training that all drivers are going to have take. Multiply the number of drivers by one hour which is what that training is costing the company (and customers).
Exactly. It underscores the fact that crackers have a target on their backs.
But what's our response? I'm reminded of those stupid cracker broads down south kneeling before some blak thug begging his forgiveness for slavery.
So now it’s “white privilege” to have a customer service complaint? That will be news to all POC who complain about service issues. If the complaining woman had been black, what privilege would she have been expected to “check” so as not to bother and oppress the delivery driver?
If it turns out critical race theory is the cause that’ll be interesting. Can’t see the perp’s lawyer using that as a defense. That would be hilarious. Also, the perp would be charged with a hate crime...more hilarity.
If this guy had a verifiable past and Amazon was forbidden to research it...that’ll be interesting as well.
The Amazon driver’s who deliver here have all been extremely plesant...to the point I suspect they are trained in how to handle customers. If that’s the case, I don’t know what any company can do if they’ve trained people and conducted whatever due diligence is possible by law. But if the law is the problem here, Amazon will have the clout to get it changed.
This will be worth following.
Yes again. He was right. Here we go.
The guy is a she, even thought her name is “Itzel” which starts with an “It”.
This story is completely infuriating. But, I guess that’s what you get with poorly-vetted “diversity” hires.
First, I have to say that many customers are complete jackasses and probably deserve this in a karmic type of way. However, we cannot allow society to behave this way. Both of them are symbolic of our cultural fabric tearing at the seams.
Secondly, and most importantly, I am so tired of seeing white people just passively take their beating. There is something missing from a survival instinct standpoint that does not bode well for the future
People of any color who do not grow up in an environment where every dispute is handled with violence are probably in shock when the fists start flying.
