Yes it is. That’s why I have to give them away or cull them.

Those proud mounds began to wither after a couple days in the high 30s. Today, 50!

Visited my parents place today, brought them lunch. The first set of greenhouses are almost full. Nice and warm and humid in there.

cheers

Yay! They always brought us the most beautiful baskets of fruit at Christmastime. Loved that for my staff!

I loved working with your folks. So dependable and their Fall Mums and Asters were always the very BEST quality. Never EVER had a complaint about quality.

I remember when your parents took a trip to Europe; your Dad told me about every MINUTE of it and re-vising places he had been to in wartime. He and I bonded as fellow Veterans. Very touching. I’ll never forget that conversation. :)

That’s so tough for you and Mrs. I’m sure. It makes me realize that I’m going to be forever grateful that hubby built my raised beds right next to the patio. Just about 8 feet to the retaining wall from the back patio door. It’s only about 100 sq. feet, but yields quite a bit.

I even have 2 beds on the upper end, that I can stand on the patio and not even have to bend over. They get quite a workout—I have the darned bad lumbar area that appreciates the no bending needed. Ha.

I hope ya’ll well, and have no bad reactions to the shots.

In Roman times, the so-called ′ Tiger Eyes′ small white stones were placed among the stones on the road so that they could be seen at night. Love this. If I had more energy, I might do our walkway up to the front door like this.

2 more days in Texas.

Met with 1 homebuilder yesterday and mtg another today.

The one one I met yesterday brought his wife along. She hasba big garden also.

The 14 degree temps they had last week killed off everything in her greenhouse.

I think she may grow flowers for sale because she was lamenting the loss of some ferns she had for over a decade. I cannot think of a reason to keep ferns other than for filling out a bouquet with a few friends.

Soon I will be back in Washington State and can tend to my babies.

The red Swiss chard which I dropped a seed in the gravel walkway of my greenhouse 3 yrs ago and it keeps returning. The wife spotted it yesterday and took a photo.

I was thinking the wife deserved a reward for tending the seed starts so I told her she could try and transplant it today of she wanted to.

Really though, I like to see it surviving I 3/8 minus gravel doing no watering or any upkeep just to keep me humble. It is a reminder nature is better at this stuff than I am.

Mrs A! I don’t think I have seen your name in here before which is most likely because I am only on her to talk about myself...hahahaha.

If you wait to do your chores until after the snakes awaken you could get free dancing lessons! Not sure if Mexican music or tap dancing or maybe clogging?

Something high stepping for sure.

That ‘water bridge’ is really cool! I can’t even on those ‘find the animals,’ today. ;)
