I hope that will help you to get over the pain.
I want to plant a few things but know I will not be able to. I was thinking if I got one of those kneeling garden benches I could try, but wow! the price for those.
Thank you very much, my FRiend. I sure need prayer at this point in time.
I put in one azalea last year. I may have to get more. Our neighbor put in a row of various evergreens along the property line years ago. Now they are towering and shedding so many pine needles onto my woodland garden along that edge. Its killing some of my stuff, but I figured the azalea would be ok there. I may have to move plants out of there and put some different things in there that will do well.
Oh no Jem....I hope you feel much better, very quickly. That’s a lot of work for one day.
Don’t feel bad...I was at a July 4th fireworks and said outloud...somethings burning...people in front shushed me real fast! I had no idea it was pot..
Glad to see the videos of the Trumparilla boat parade.
I was kind of like you Jermain. I thought smoked marijuana had sort of a sweet musky smell. I did know when as a plant it smells like skunk especially when harvesting it.
Here is what Google search said.
“Different strains contain different undertones, but all weed has a skunky, burnt rope smell when it’s smoked. The scent of marijuana is potent and lingers for quite a while; it’s one of the only substances that can be detected before it’s lit and long after it’s burned.Jun 2, 2020”
Why is their construction on the south lawn of the White House?
I can believe that. I have a skunk story, too. I witnessed it, but wasn’t affected much by it.
Anyway, the meds are kicking and I better get off the ‘net. G’night.
This is from Twitter feed of a White House reporter:
“A White House official got back to me about my question yesterday during the daily briefing on the construction on the White House South Lawn. The project, the official said, is intended to update the WH communications and power system. So it has relevance to the press corps.
The WH official said the system hasn’t been updated for decades & the project to renew it had actually started in 2020 during the Trump administration. The project is being done in coordination w/ USSS, the Park Service & the White House Communications Agency, the official said.
The renewal project, the WH official said, is about to enter a new phase with work on the northern end of the South Lawn, which will take about 10 weeks. At the end of 10 weeks, Marine One will once again be able to lift off the South Lawn, the official said.
Summer 2022 is the expected date for completion of the renewal project in its entirety, the WH official said. So that would explain the apparatus cluttering the South Lawn that can be seen by the Rose Garden.”

My understanding is, even if there is enough room to land Marine One on the South Lawn, the turbulence from the rotors can cause construction materials to go airborne and be a threat to people.
Good night.
I’m turning in also.
Take Care.

Wife: “No.”
Husband: “A garbage man. And you know why?”
Wife: “No, why?”
Husband: “Because he thinks they only work on Tuesdays.”
Good morning, lysie!
Bits of BACON baked right in!
Thank you!
Good morning!
I will be hitting the benadryl today. I thought I had avoided the poison ivy, but there is a small breakout on my ankle. Ugh!
