I’m eating like a champ in the daytime.
Homemade soup with ever-changing ingredients as I continually add leftovers like- corned beef and cabbage, spaghetti and meatballs, sloppy joes, Bell pepper stuffing, jar of hot salsa, jar of Marinara sauce, and enough water to get every item combined back to a soupy consistency. All of these ingredients were added to a stock that was just my leftover soup from a previous concoction. I thought it was going to be too salty because the corned beef was so salty that it just about made the diner gag, but the volume was great enough (4 gallons) to disperse the salt and the soup turned out surprisingly delicious.
The homemade juice has plenty of ingredients. I think that I literally just had a Pavlovian reaction to the image. It conveys realistically a picture (eye candy) that signals to the brain that it must be wonderfully delicious.
The homemade juice’s ingredients:
Romaine lettuce
raddichio
celery
spinach
bananas
oranges w/ peelings
plantains
red delicious apples
honeycrisp apples
Fiji apples
I probably made 8 gallons in one fell swoop. Freezing 4 gallons at the moment.
Oops! I forgot to add the base ingredient which is orange juice this time.
Well....the pizza pic you posted looks amazing.
We’ve been enjoying pizza made in a pizza oven. Yum. That crust reminds me of the ones we’ve been having.
So sorry to hear about your corneal ulcer :-(
Are there any drops that may help?
What a great spoof tweet!
“...that crazy giraffe has not had her baby yet.”
Are we talking about April? The one we watched give birth a few years ago?
I keep praying, and overdosing on hopium, that somehow the truth about the stolen election comes out, that Durham does his job, that the states reveal the steal and correct the electoral votes, and that the military makes sure the dementia patient goes back to Delaware permanently.
And takes both his hoes with him.
That hopium is a powerful drug.
One of my best friends, and I, used to play hookie and then skate all day.
Mother said, The truant officer is going to drive by and see you two skating.
By the end of the day....we were “sick” of skating. 😱
It's what keeps us all going.
NO!! Those horrid things would get stuck in hair!!
Sponge rollers were the best.
Well....that is...until electric (OUCH! burned my fingers!) rollers arrived.
☺️
Awww....you’d walk a mile (or, less :) for your sis’s pack of Camels.
I remember seeing those but never had them. I finally cut my hair in a Pixie cut before there was a Pixie cut.
Same zoo, different giraffe. This one is Johari. It was announced last September that she might be preggers and the watch began. It is still on-going.
Pin curls; except we used this spring clip to hold it (same clip that my aunt used for the curlers in the beauty shop).
“Linda Ronstadt had a hit in 1977 with “Blue Bayou”.
I LOVED that song when it came out. But I am much older then you if you were class of 72. You would be around my daughters age.
I couldn’t believe that Ronstadt was dating our then CA Governor Jerry Brown.
Apparently, creme rinse has gone to the dogs: https://www.revivalanimal.com/product/silk-conditioning-creme-rinse?SKU=26323-801&a=PLA
“oranges w/ peelings”
freeper, haven’t you been told if you have Acid Reflux you should NOT eat or drink anything acidic? That includes coffee also as it is acidic.
Didn’t I hear that the sweet little one of Aprils had died? Some kind of accident maybe?
“..spring clip..”
Yes I graduated to those.
Yes, you heard correctly. Azizi, the last one of hers had an Intussusception and died from the infection, I think.
