Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.
Q describes this awakening as follows:

When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.

Media outlets, you may use the video. It was recorded during a virtual hearing in the 394th DC of TX, and released for educational purposes. It is crucial that this not be used to mock the lawyers, but instead to exemplify the legal community’s dedication to the cause of justice.
Do you think that the Senate will get 67 votes to convict? I think there are that many Rinos in the Senate who would like to convict, but I think they, even McConnell, are smart enough to know that would be a death knell for their party. Given that only 6 agreed it was even Constitutional, I would be surprised if any more than that would vote to convict.
He’s an actor. And I don’t trust him. What else exactly he is remains TBD.
Trumps lawyers submitted a 75 page brief yesterday to the Senate regarding the trial. It covers all the bases IMO. A lot to go through but the Conclusion starting on page 74 says it all.

Corporate power must be curbed to preserve free enterprise and stave off socialism, stated Milton Friedman and Jane Jacobs, two of the great public intellectuals of the 20th century.
Fifty years before corporate leaders such as Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Google’s Sergey Brin told their companies to fight climate change, oversee election integrity, and perform other social and political functions, Friedman in a New York Times Magazine article characterized such corporate leaders as “unwitting puppets of the intellectual forces that have been undermining the basis of a free society these past decades.”
The Big Tech titans have become especially powerful politically through their control of social media. This enables them, without meaningful accountability to shareholders, to direct their corporations’ resources to censor speech and assume other functions Friedman called “governmental” in nature, becoming “simultaneously legislator, executive, and jurist.” Jane Jacobs, in her 1992 book “Systems of Survival,” likewise warned that corporations assuming governmental functions can become “monstrous hybrids” that entrench monopolies, destroy competition, and promote corruption.
The problem of unaccountable corporate power, however, isn’t limited to Big Tech executives. Today, many if not most leaders of major corporations act as the “unwitting puppets” that Friedman warned about, backing social causes like Black Lives Matter or a $15-per-hour minimum wage, thus unwittingly contributing to the ascendancy of socialists such as Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Friedman found such business conduct so destructive as “to reveal a suicidal impulse.”
Corporate power wasn’t always unaccountable, although some, like Thomas Jefferson, foresaw its potential for harm and wanted to “crush in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country.” ...snip...

Political theater for sure. I would not be surprised if the Dems move to make the provision that Trump can never hold office, which is a separate vote, a simple majority vote. Might even want to waive the first vote of removal.
We visited Mt Rushnmore about 4 years ago. We stayed in a hotel in Rapid City, which is about a 45-minute drive from the monument. Maybe there are campgrounds nearby. I hope that helps.

The Rigging That Failed

I just finished researching a new column about the Time Magazine article in which the existence of a powerful cabal of elites rigging the 2020 election to ‘save’ it from Donald Trump was confirmed.
One thing really stood out from reading all these news media articles about the Time Magazine scoop, articles from across the political spectrum.
Nobody points out one thing:
Despite spending more than a year carefully rigging everything they could think of to ensure Biden won, the cabal was watching in abject horror on election night as Trump was cruising to a comfortable victory ANYWAY.
This forced the cabal to take actions they really didn’t think they’d have to take. We all know what happened next.

Your analysis seems reasonable; as much as many in the Whig Party would like to send Trump to Devil's Island they must know that it would sound the death knell for their party - a party that stands for almost nothing patriotic, pro U.S. sovereignty.
IMO, our Constitutional Republic is not hanging by a thread - it is on the verge of tumbling into an abyss. :^( This next year will be telling.
