I think they did a good job staying on task, evident by the whining of the press in summation.
They /barely/ touched on the “crime” in the article; whether or not there was a crime committed.
They expanded on the Constitutionality of the proceeding, which is what the day was for.
The press were verklempt that the crime was not included by the defense.
The video tried to prove the crime not the Constitutionality.

As for tomorrow, having decided that the _text_ of the Constitution was malleable to favor the prosecution, I would concede the argument of a bill of attainder as moot.

This is about impeaching US. Yes, they want to get their revenge against President Trump. That’s definitely part of it. But the primary reason to hold this impeachment sham hearing is to convict US, Trump-supporters, and to gaslight us into believing we were mistaken to embrace the notion of making America great again.
