The truth is that he offered to do that.

He says they asked him.

Petitioners’ legal team has asked me whether I would be willing to argue the case before #SCOTUS, if the Court grants certiorari. I have agreed, and told them that, if the Court takes the appeal, I will stand ready to present the oral argument.

The biggest help for the country from the SC would be for it to limit the use of “standing” and “laches” by courts to keep election charges out of the courts.

Don’t think they have to in the Pa case, but they can (IIRC).

I agree, they “IF” should have been included in the title, a bit clickbait-ish.

Texas has only one decent Senator- TX and the US would lose him as a Senator if he moved to the Court, but there would be advantages as well. Now if he were replacing Roberts, we all could have a celebration.

hey, I’m no legal beagle, I get hints from my son who is.
Alito has already trashed PA’s Gov. & Supreme Court in his opinion on a recent similar case. In that trashing he lets them know that what they did was unconstitutional.
He moved up the deadline for the left to get their brief in for this Kelly case. And he did it on a Sunday, and then specified that he wanted it by 9am tomorrow. He thus avoids a problem with the Safe Harbor provision while the left has to hustle to meet HIS deadline.
I just think he and 4 others are gonna give it to them good.

You may want to check this out just for informational purposes
.

..Over nine trips to the Supreme Court, Cruz clearly lost four cases
and won two. The other three rulings were less clear-cut...

Prayers up for Senator Ted Cruz (who I used to not be able to stand 😳)
You and me both.......he really p!ssed me off at the 2016 Republican Convention but I think he might have discovered many, many felt the way we did. He’s got a way with arguing before the Supremes and as far as I know he hasn’t lost one case he was arguing. I will always respect the job he did in arguing that Mexican vermin who cried he was a Mexican citizen and Texas couldn’t kill him......well anyhoo, Gooberner Bush was going to let him off and give him prison time and Ted argued why he should get the death penalty.....(the Pena/Ertman murders). He’s now where he should be......pushing up daisey’s....I stand corrected if I got any of this wrong.....I’m working from memory and my memory ain’t what it used to be.

If you have a source that says he won all 9 cases, I’d be more then happy to look at it.

“Too bad Giuliani is sick.”

How many times has Guiliani gone before SCOTUS to argue cases? He was a criminal prosecutor.

Seems to me that (Sekulow) was least effective defense lawyer at the impeachent trial.

Too bad Giuliani is sick.

Rudy has been a good warrior, but we would be much better having Ted argue before SCOTUS. He is a legal genius and knows Constitutional law better than just about anybody.
