USAA has committed $50 million to nonprofit organizations over the next three years to help improve racial equality and positively address the employment, educational and economic disparities that exist within communities of color and low-income military communities. The goal of our targeted contributions is to help close gaps across education and job training, employment and income disparity.

Protection money mostly. Until they need more “protection”. BLM and the rest will never leave them alone. It’s like giving the school bully $1. He won’t stop there.
USAA?
Are they like USSA (Union of Soviet Socialist America)?
They didnt used to be.
USAA has been going downhill. In the 90’s I had a claim and they took care of it over the phone got the check in a few days. Had a claim in June, finally got them to respond in Aug.
Also my USAA member dad passed last year and they told my sister there was no money to be refunded. I said BS, he had a subscriber account. After several months on denials they finally coughed up $5K.
Crap... part of my insurance premiums are going to support this virtue signaling by the USAA Board and executives. I never thought Id see this day.
shoot! they are a good insurance company and i am sorry to see this.
How much is Burn, Loot, Murder getting?
Hold on there USAA.
USAA is a member owned cooperative. It is not some piggybank in San Antonio.
Stop this madness.
Getting to be more like that every day. Several generations of our family have been USAA members and customers for years. I’m going to start looking around for alternatives now, if anyone has any suggestions.
Progressive is owned by lefties, and GEICO is part of Warren Buffett’s group. You just can’t get away from this crap.
That’s what my sister-in-law said. It would be nice to know how many members USAA has so we know how much we are being forced to contribute to this crap. Nobody asked us if we wanted this.
I have been with them for decades. I need to remind them who pays the premiums.
I sent them a scathing email, but you are right. Probably nothing we can do but take our business elsewhere, but where? All major companies are kowtowing to the mob.
Maybe both.
But, um, instead of thousands of companies spending 10s or hundreds of billions combined to do whatever in the black community...try this.
1. Get an education.
2. Get a good job.
3. Date a girl
4. Get engaged
5. Get married
6. THEN have kids
7. Then get a house
Number 4 is optional.
6 and 7 can be switched around.
Cuz without all those steps, they’re just adding to the many trillions that have been wasted already on this nonsense.
"The goal of our targeted contributions is to help close gaps across education"...
Yes, let's close that gap in education...A task that millions and millions of $$$ and 35 years of time here in Texas has proven to be a lost cause. No teacher can teach a child who refuses to learn and believe when I tell you that is the bottom line in public education. I escaped at 64 from the most radically liberal public school system in the country. I thank God I am no longer the depressed, unfulfilled person I once was.
The money would be better spent lowering their insureds’ premiums. It’s clear their policyholders aren’t their first priority.
No doubt. If they were to back away, then the mob would really descend on them. I’m so tired of this. When do people take responsibility for themselves, their children, and their communities? Why does someone always have to come in and help them? You can’t help people who won’t do anything for themselves. You just make them feel more entitled and resentful.
That’s completely in line with how they behaved two years ago when I was employed there. They make a huge deal about being pro-America and pro-Military but, underneath, they’re just as politically correct as a college campus. Oh, and my contract job got outsourced to India.
