N.Y. Times UFO Report? Really? We are taking the N.Y. Times reporting as credible now? If I believed in UFOs before I don’t now! If the Times reports it then it has to be FAKE NEWS!

I think the evidence being laid down now has convinced the elite of the Pentagon that they can’t hold the secrecy anymore. All of this is simply to prepare you for some heavy bits of evidence that can’t be explained.

We lost a beloved person here last year on freerepublic. He asked me not to divulge what he told me but I had no reason to think he was a liar in all the years I’ve known him on here and he told me some pretty stunning things.

Star trek type things that we had either built on our own or learned from alien civilizations.

They seemed too fantastic to have been able to be kept a secret though.

Sometimes the truth gets stretched or perhaps exaggerated but I won’t speak ill of the deceased.

The living I speak ill of often :-)

I’m not going to jump on the bandwagon, but the sudden emergence of the transistor in the 50’s, without any lead-up breakthroughs which would have led in a logical path to the development of the transistor, has always stuck in my craw. You have to be an EE to fully appreciate what a quantum leap in technology that the transistor was. ANd now we print millions and billions per square inch, defy any logical explanation, other than reverse engineering, then developing the manufacturing technology to create such densities of transistors.

Okay, then, what in the name of all that is holy are TPTB up to with these film releases?

We are being softened up for sure. This is not coming out of the blue.

Yup. We seem to be on the cusp of official confirmation that UFOs are real, which then leads to a range of complicated and troubling new issues.

If UFOs are real where do they come from and what is their nature. They could be ships from other worlds but they might be time machines from the future or ships from other dementions, they could be from other planes of existence. They might even be from God?

I run a computer repair shop that used to be open all night. People would tell me all sorts of stories. Lots of people have seen things they couldn’t explain. One of the sightings wasn’t far from my office. Some have even implied that the military has the sort of things you mentioned. So it’s interesting.

Tentatively, I am inclined to think that all of those and more could be part of the phenomenon. And, as Jacques Valle concluded, there is an element of deception about the whole thing that suggests great intelligence, discipline, and potentially malevolent purpose.

There were several large companies pouring lots of R&D funds into the development of the transistor. They already had an analog device with many of the same characteristics in the vacuum tube. Both could be used for logic gates and both could be used for amplification.

I had a professor, Gerald Tuma, at the University of Oklahoma, who told us there had been a conference where one of the corporate groups trying to develop transistors presented a paper giving a status of where they were, the challenges they faced, and an estimate of how long it would be before they would succeed. After they were done, one of the other corporate entities took the podium and announced: We have them! There is a table set up at the back where you can order them!

And yes, I am a EE. I am trained in quantum mechanics and have even designed masks for the process of producing transistors and circuits on a substrate.

My company, Honeywell, was planning on using substrates to replace wire wrap boards to build mainframes. They did it for years.

A very high placed person said where we are technologically now is not 50 years beyond what is publicly known, but 50 years beyond what we can imagine.

I think he was either a Navy Admiral or worked at Lockheed Skunk Works/Boeing Phantom Works. You’d have to look that up - perhaps on a YT lecture video

We can imagine Star Trek, but that would be old news ... Think of any SciFi story/movie/concept and that would be old news also ...

I think this had a lot to do with someone reexamining the work of James Clerk Maxwell who gave us (by way of transformations by Oliver Heaviside of four of Maxwell’s 200 field equations into vector equations) all we know about the entire electromagnetic spectrum; inspired both Nicola Tesla and Albert Einstein.

The field equations reportedly hint at unlimited free energy and instantaneous transportation for many one spot in the entire Universe to any other by simply steeping across

I believe you.

The human mind is a funny thing. I was SO SURE about some things from my past, in early adulthood, that I would have bet everything I had on my version of events.

I ended up being proven wrong on several of them!

I will give one quick example. I was 14. My pop had gotten very sick on vacation and I was SURE I spent the day with my aunt millie. SURE of it.

I didn’t.

She had gone up to Niagara to be with my mom and pop.

But when we all hear so many stories, at least SOME have to be correctly recalled and spending half a trillion a year for so many years should have led us to some quite incredible innovations in our military :)

And what was though impossible only a decade ago is happening now. So it will be interesting to see.

But the Star Trek stuff mentioned to you and I...wow. That’s one I’d need to see.

All night you were open?

GOD BLESS YOU!!

I am a night person and a few all night car repair places and all night grocery and drug stores are a Godsend.

Before I fell asleep wit hthe TV on last night, I was watching a Ancient Aliens show that said that the entire “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” was an exact reenactment of an actual UFO landing at Holloman AFB.

According to the story, a UFO landed at the base and was filmed on 16mm, a copy of which was given to Steven Spielberg - that’s all I remember.

WOW.

That last piece you mentioned..I have heard that from very high up sources too.

And I only know one :)

Never knew him to lie.

It would destroy the airline, car, train and other industries overnight, I would assume.

And free limitless energy? Forget about it.

Thank for the book tip.

I love reading about things like quantum entanglement and quantum physics in general. Don’t know if it adds to modern discoveries but I just find it fascinating.

I’d like to think there’s a parallel universe where I’m a great success and with a hot blond right now instead of alone typing on FR :) Though I do love FR.

The Man Who Changed Everything
The Life of James Clerk Maxwell
by Basil Mahonr

Companion book - how did we actually learn about the electromagnetic spectrum:
Oliver Heaviside
The Life, Work, and Times of an Electrical Genius of the Victorian Age
by Paul J Nahin

Heaviside was self taught, lived with his mother, hated field equations - which to him were abominations- so he changed them into vector equations - thus becoming a “genius” on someone else’s dime.
