Their work is slowing the spread of COVID-19 and if that work is stopped no other organization can replace them. The world needs @WHO now more than ever.

Bill should use his money then. I personally think WHO is a waste of money, effort, and counterproductive to the stated goals.
I also think that jerk water Gates should shut up—he’s a dropout - not a doctor, and has a conflict of interest in anything related to virus or vaccines.
Some interesting statistics from Iceland [April 14]
You too.
BTW my only “argument” is that flubros/doomsters are both passe. We know what we have now. And we need to re-open.
We should all be looking at the nitty gritty of achieving that.
Awful glad I was prepped for events. Pity those who weren’t.
“... Since the scourge started, we have incurred losses. The closure of bars, restaurants and clubs as a result of the curfew has rendered 90 per cent of sex workers jobless. These were the places where we could get our daily bread, High Voice Africa chairlady, Maryline Laini, told the news platform.
As a result, she claims they have resorted to charging as little as Sh20 ($0.19) for their services, which is lower than their usual asking prices ranging between Sh50 ($0.47) and Sh10, 000 ($94.45).
Life is tough, we are being stigmatised Some of us are HIV positive, we need to eat for the treatment or the drugs we are using to benefit our bodies, Ms Laini, who also called on authorities to add them as beneficiaries of relief items, said...”
So much idiocy...
I’ll be fairly isolated for a month or two more, too, after April, not because my own health is lousy, but so many of my friends and relatives have vulnerabilities that it’s simply not worth it to visit them for awhile.
I’m sure there were lots of nice Germans in Hamburg and Dresden, too, but we did what we had to do.
One of the vilest still hasnt posted in over two weeks. So she either is dealing with the virus since her family is in Ny...or she has been suspended for being so vile.
Actually, 56 deg. C (133 deg. F) for 30 minutes was still pretty darn effective in the study (5-log reduction), so, 150 deg. F (~65 deg. C) for 15 min., and then let the oven “coast” down to room temperature is probably quite sufficient to, say, disinfect a mask used in most public circumstances to safe levels.
Maybe not for the blob-on-a-motorized-cart I saw @ Wal-Mart yesterday. Good God, she must be around 330-50 lbs. @ around 5’3”. No mask. Very sad...
Seems like anything can be a symptom of wuhan flu. Hard to diagnose.
But you saw yesterday where the Dr said the arent giving the il6 drug unless intubated now..likely due to cost..
It likely works but is too expensive unless at deaths door
That's a bush league comment.
Good grief.
The genentech drug shows promise for cytokine storm part of the equation. Those with rheumetoid arthritis could get it prior to hospitalization but seems like those with psoriasis will have difficulty because studies show it can make worse
So therefore looking at mung bean as a possible natural il6 inhibitor
Btw..tom ganks is diabetic and had less problems than his wife. His wife admiied to taking the malaria drug so he might have been on it too

All of their sources of vote-mining (except the Dead in Chicago) are being drained.
...and this is why they are against Voter ID.
Dead people don't really walk around to be carrying it, outside of TV shows.
The dead are always ready, willing and able to vote.
They may be the most politically engaged group in the US!
Hmmm... Less people, but virus likes cool & damp, right?
Sorry. “One of the 3 or 4 most morbidly obese persons I have ever seen in person” is more PC I suppose. Sad either way.
I just wanted to thank all the posters in all of these threads for providing such useful and illuminating info. You folks have kept me informed and on the ball since Jan.
Yesterday, I had the antibodies test done and was negative. So, it looks as though the symptoms I had in early Feb. weren’t the wuhanic plague. I didn’t really think that I had it, but my wife was hammered for 3-4 weeks requiring antibiotics. In all probability, she didn’t have it either even though it was an odd sickness. I guess it serves as some type of warning that just because one had an abnormal sickness earlier in the year doesn’t mean it was wuhan i.e. false sense of security.
(Back to consuming)
3rd case in my Central Texas County announced. I am sure there are more, just not tested. This 3rd case was asymptomatic, but because of travel, his employer ordered testing.
It is 37° here this morning. Am going to work on setting up a cattle panel today in a half hoop w/ rebar to hold it in place for some cucuzza, yard long beans, and other vining crops.
Praying everyone is safe, and feeling hopeful, and well today. Sunshine, and gardening seem to boost my mood.
