You can still use them for business as long as you steer clear of bashing stupid commies.
That would give you a HUGE crop the next year since all of the garlic would go right back into next year’s crop instead of saving some out to use.
Brown rice actually freezes very well.
Because it’s such a pain to cook, I usually make a big batch of it, make the mess once, and then freeze it into smaller containers for using on an as needed basis.
If you grow your own veggies and kill your own venison, cheap is hardly the word to use to describe how inexpensive it would be.
We had bad weather just north of us and just south... surprising since we are the tornado alley in our state! It was a sleepless night for sure.
FB has to be shown who’s boss. You learn how to block people, so your feed has nothing but conservatives.
No pictures of people vomiting, no insults, no lefties, no vulgar photos or drawings, no total imbeciles . . . it’s quite nice, really.
I was a little disturbed to see a conservative page going full-throated Disobey Your President, but I decided not to Unfollow it. For now.
That’s the plan.
We’re going to grow the rice too ;)
NICE!!!
I actually has a wet area in my NH garden that might be just right for growing rice.....

Just checked on growing rice.
Not in our climate zone.
You would have to use a very short season rice.
And buy or make a dehuller.
We bought one this year. I grew a bunch of it and needed to dehull it. Still don’t have anything to get rid of the bran to make white rice. But it’s healthier that way anyways.
My dehuller is an attachment to my grain mill.
If you’re interested, PM me for sources of seed that might grow where you live.
Planning on growing about 1000sqft of rice this year. My yield, based on prior years, should be about 200-250lbs. Maybe more if I ratoon it and we have a long warm fall.
LOL...stealing that!
Coronavirus can survive long exposure to high temperature, a threat to lab staff around world: paper
French scientists had to bring the temperature to almost boiling point to kill virus
Hmmm, that’s disturbing if true.
The second wave...late fall?
We will definitely be better prepared.
Now we have accurate tests, efficacious meds, hands-on experience, antibody treatment, and lots of respirators.
It won’t be as bad as the first wave, when it was novel.
Accurate rapid tests and meds would probably be sufficient for all but the riskiest groups.
Just so someone with symptoms can go to their clinic, get swabbed, wait 15minutes and then get a scrip for meds.
So they don’t have to wait till they’re sick enough for the hospital.
And, so they can get over this faster than the 3 WEEKS it looks like it takes from beginning of symptoms till you’re over it altogether. That’s a job killer right there. Not to mention the 2 week quarantine after you’re better waiting for that negative test.
Most jobs won’t wait 5 weeks for someone to come back. Especially not the blue collar hourly jobs.
Free will.
I wonder if God ever regrets giving us that.
Dang!
How is this beastie as resilient as it seems to be?
My wife just employed the crisper function on the cheese topping the baked spaghetti I am currently enjoying...14 minutes from start to finish.
