Vitamin D3 in a multi-vitamin along with vitamin K2 is the best defense against flu bugs.

Here’s why: if this virus doesn’t go out of control, they’ll have to think up something else to get rid of trump, and they’re on a roll right now.

Halfwit 27-year-olds giving their pre-programmed talking points. I read one of the studies "refuting" Pauling: it gave less than have the dose he recommended, starting later than he said, and continuing for a shorter duration.

I read they were using intravenous Vitamin C in China with good success. Don’t have references, though I believe I’ve seen them.

I also wonder about vitamin D and A. As well as NAC.

All I know is that when I was in my teens, when I was diagnosed with mononucleosis and the doctor told me and my mom that I would have it for about a month, mom megadosed me with Vitamin C and garlic and within a week I was retested and had no trace of the disease in me. The doctor was absolutely flabbergasted.

Anecdotal, but it’s possible that my body reacts well to Vitamin C. These tests often fail to take into account the wide variety of reactions any particular human body has to certain chemicals.

I C what they are trying to do.
Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

If a quarantine saves just one child's life, it's worth it.

But elderberry tincture will. It pretty much destroys virus ability to attach to healthy cells. We make our own and take it everyday during flu season.

I don’t know, for sure, about colds but... Vitamin C supplements do wonders for my gums. I don’t get a lot of Vitamin C in my diet. (keto) If I don’t take it, my gums get sore and bleed like stuck pigs when I go to the dentist for cleaning.

Even if I just take them a few days before going to the dentist, they always comment on how healthy my gums look. And, I don’t get canker sores when I accidently bite my lip if I’m taking it.

Besides that, the ones I take daily taste great! :-)

It may not be a flu preventative but it does help you maintain your overall health, which will help if you catch the virus.

Take high doses of C and D and magnesium.

*NOT* the ‘RDA’ minimum... 10 times that, until you notice the difference.

Practically, that means that supplementing vitamin C can shorten the duration of a cold by about one day. Participants in each study supplemented vitamin C for varying periods, but generally, the daily dose was at least 200 milligrams.

200 mg is a low dose, designed and guaranteed to fail. Linus Pauling was recommending 2,000 to 10,000 mg daily.
