Family member just had a sonogram at a hospital. Billed as $2285.75. Insurance discount $1797.86. Hospital accepts payment of $487.89.
Consider the overhead costs on processing that $487.89. Why shouldn't everyone be able to walk in and pay $487.89, regardless of their insurance or lack thereof?
I have seen the same sort of nonsense with my bloodwork .. over $600 billed, $60 or so is accepted. But, Joe Public would have to pay the $600.
This such a racket ... made to make you beg for insurance. This is such a corrupt system. I cannot believe this sort of collusion/racketeering/price gouging is legal.
Instead of messing with “like your doctor keep your doctor” or “single payer,” how about just cleaning up the billing so every poor schlub has a fighting chance to meet their medical bills????
This gets me so angry. (pant pant)
So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 9, 2020
so I wonder how many that think they had the flu had corona virus ? and vice-verse ?

Pay careful attention:
"One of the former spies, ex-MI6 officer Richard Seddon, helped run a 2017 operation to copy files and record conversations in a Michigan office of the American Federation of Teachers, one of the largest teachers unions in the nation."— Brian Cates //Flynn & Breitbart's Army! This undercover op run by a former MI6 professional spy took place in 2017.
That was [checks card] THREE YEARS AGO.
Why is it only becoming public now, this sting run on the Michigan office of the AFT?
We'll soon find out!— Brian Cates //Flynn & Breitbart's Army! (@drawandstrike) March 9, 2020
How many OTHER STINGS were run by former professional spies from 2017 to 2020 that Trump & Co. have been SITTING ON waiting to roll out at the right moment?
It's a fascinating question!— Brian Cates //Flynn & Breitbart's Army! (@drawandstrike) March 9, 2020
Unroll:
This story being leaked to the Times now is a preemptive controlled explosion to lessen the damage of whatever it was that Project Veritas uncovered.

Prayers for Eric and family.
Amen to all your prayers. Its difficult to let go of long time friends. Particularly when you are trying to be supportive of family while you too are grieving.
Answered prayers. My friends breast cancer tests were negative. Her husband is back in US from visiting his dying mother and their daughter and SIL go to court in CA tomorrow for custody battle. Looking forward to a positive outcome then. Praising God for holding this family in His hands. He has certainly been faithful and carried them through their trials.
Many stories of the young children who lost their lives in TN storm. Somehow their parents are finding the strength to witness to the world.
How in the world?
How in the world does a two-year-old child touch the world? Little Sawyer Kimberlin did. Last week he sang his favorite -”Holy, Holy, Holy”- to any who would listen; this week he sang in the presence of the Holy One Himself.
Yesterday, thousands joined him.
In churches across the country and around the world, they sang “Sawyer’s Song.” From Indiana to Indonesia, from South Carolina to Scotland to South Africa, they sang. Hours before most of us were awake, our beloved brethren in Bulgaria sang. The language is different, but the love is the same.
Sawyer loved looking at the moon, standing at his podium, blowing his pitch pipe, and singing, and... squeezing his favorite toy -a stuffed animal he called “Lovie.”
Yesterday, his body was laid to rest next to his father, Josh, in the arms of his mother, Erin, and clutching his “Lovie.”
They found Josh’s Bible. Inside, Josh had written these words, “I cannot change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.” Indeed.
An unassuming young family living in a Tennessee town, yet living their faith. A faith they shared with family and friends. A faith they lived in front of their little boy. A little boy who... touched the world.

Getting off the gold standard was a big mistake. A gold standard prevents government overspending and borrowing. However it most likely wouldn’t be feasible to go back now, with all the worthless fiat around an ounce of gold would be way over $10,000.
