Is there any benefit to a Republican Representative getting on the floor of the House and force the members to vote on impeachment proceedings ? ( why they would, I don't know)

Does an article of impeachment survive survive an election ? There is none on record.

House votes an article of impeachment ( rumors are by christmas ).
Senate takes it's sweet time( not that they would ) and elections are held and new Congress is seated. Regardless of outcome, do articles of impeachment survive ?

depending on the answer to my original question:
Let's say House goes back to Repub. Can the House recall the article of impeachment ?

What I do see that could happen is:
The House RATs write up 15 articles of impeachment but only present 4.
Senate dismisses or doesn't get 2/3rds of those present. (Does double jeopardy apply ? probably not )
Elections happen. RATs retain the House and re-take the Senate.
House RATs present the other articles of impeachment. or re-introduce the articles from the last congress.

This House has 15 articles of impeachment and sends over 1 to the senate. The senate does what it does and it's defeated. The then sends the next article..ad nauseum...tying up the senate from doing anything...(other tham judges and treaties, they can do much now )

I've read that Brennan playfully laughs about a man he had crushed by referring to him "that <>expletive<> cripple!" so maybe they do remember them. You want to stop gun violence? Get the criminals perpetrating that violence out of your communities. Last year, ICE arrested 11,000 people with weapons violations. And those are gone from the country now. (Applause.)

Last year, we made more than 105,000 criminal alien arrests and removed more than 145,000 criminal aliens, to include nearly 6,000 gang members.

This year, ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations — with whom many of you work side by side, and we appreciate that partnership and cooperation — made nearly 37,000 criminal arrests, another record year.
