Almost like it was created for us?

>>This means our solar system may have formed differently than other solar systems did

Or was formed for a different purpose.

Don’t you listen to them, Solar System!

You aren’t odd!

You’re just fine!

Those astronomers are just haters!

They should all sniff Uranus!

IIRC, our ‘system’ revolves around the Sun at like 90° to the rest of the galaxy.................

Tough to make conclusions based on 1/infinity of the possibilities.

The four terrestrial planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars) are very widely spaced apart.

Well, but the planets more distant from the sun are even more widely spaced apart. For example, we're 1AU from the sun, with Venus and Mercury squeezed in between; while Jupiter is 5.2 and Saturn is 10. Uranus is much farther from Saturn than Saturn is from Jupiter.

We should only take aliens from yellow stars.

Aliens from red or blue stars will only be a drain on our planet.

I’m not really buying this “study based on NASA data”. We’re not even able to detect the planets around most stars, and the ones we can are typically only the large planets or the ones very close to the star. Most of the universe is still largely unknown, so it’s too early to make a judgement like this.

In our own solar system, however, the story is very different.

In other words, our solar system is anomalous. This then leads some credence to the Electric Universe theory which in part holds that Earth, and Mars were once moons of Saturn. Something happened which drove the giant planets of Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus into their present orbits far from the Sun, flinging off Earth, Venus, and Mars in the process.

That something above could be Tom Van Flandren’s Exploding Planets Theory - both Mars and Luna are heavily cratered on only one side - the side facing a theorized exploding planet(s).

Using the word “oddball” is a very oddball thing for a scientist to be doing. Especially since they have seen only an infinitesimal portion of all the systems in the Universe. Our Solar System is doing just fine, thank you, and regrets that scientists cannot appreciate a little uniqueness when they see it.

Could it be that our solar system was created first, and that other solar systems were created after? Quite possible!! 8>)

although more observations are needed to learn what the different mechanisms were.

Junk science, Kepler lacks the ability to discover solar systems akin to ours - so of course it doesn’t find them.

So when solar systems dont match what most look like, science can cal them odd or abnormal.
....
But when homosexuals don’t match what almost everyone else does secually, you cant call them odd or abnormal.
