At Rainbow Grocery, a cooperative in this citys Mission District, one brand of water is so popular that its often out of stock. But one recent evening, there was a glittering rack of it: glass orbs containing 2.5 gallons of what is billed as raw water unfiltered, untreated, unsterilized spring water, $36.99 each and $14.99 per refill, bottled and marketed by a small company called Live Water.

You gotta to be kidding me. Water was a killer. That is why people either drank alcohol or tea. I hope these people get cholera, parasites or dysentery.

I’d love to be on quality treated city water instead of my crappy well which is a hard water nightmare.

Another cultish fad for smart people to make good money.
I thought about something like this 20 years ago, but the deal to obtain the property with the well fell through.

I should start taking water from my toilet and filling up bottles. See how much i can make.
I’ll advertise it as “as natural as you can get!” :)

Love my well water. Feet from the river. Natural purification through the granite sand.
Can’t stand city water.

I grew up on a farm/cattle ranch where my grandfather was born. We had a deep good well, ate our own beef (and wild game) as well as our own pork, lamb, chickens and drank raw milk from our cows.
Grandpa lived to 90, grandma was 104, both my parents are still alive, and I’m 61.

Pre filtered. Pre treated.
It doesn’t get any rawer than this.

Almost $6 a gallon? And people complain about the price of gas!!
We have a well and we run all the drinking water through the filter in the fridge. Very hard with some iron oxide.

I've always had artesian well water until I moved here. I'd much rather have that than municipal water with who-knows-what chemicals are needed to make Lake Erie safe for drinking. The other insanity is storm water drains. All they do is cause backups. The houses around here have enough land to naturally absorb water. Water and sewer/septic have gotten crazy expensive with recent federal guidelines.
It's out of control. Now, a lot of the improvements are to subsidize high-density and irresponsible housing that cause problems with water and storm drainage.
