What is this?
I don't know what these are but they are installed every couple of miles around here. It is a big deal because an entirely new utility pole has to be installed which is at least 10 feet higher than the others.
That’s it. They’re for cellular antennas. As demand for wireless data gulping continues to expand, there needs to be more, smaller cells.
I also see cell towers that appear half-built. I think more stuff will be mounted above what’s already there.
I did thanks
I agree with the WiFi explanation. Looks like a repeater
You’ve been here for over 12 years and you still don’t know how to post a thread?
You’ve made a habit of posting your passing thoughts as News.
How do you manage to get away with this?
John Titor wrote about these. Art Bell, call your office.
I don’t know what that means.

For imgur, you can’t just use the url https://imgur.com/a/2JHrN
Not on FR at least.
It has to end with .jpg or .png or .gif
To get there from imgur, Right Click the image and choose View Image will get you https://i.imgur.com/dFwJcPA.jpg
Then you follow the html guidelines for Basic html which you can find on the help page http://www.freerepublic.com/help.htm
I am loved?
Cut the cable and see who shows up and start asking questions.
It gets the electric wires above most of the tree branches that usually fall on them. They didn’t move my cable or phone lines.
Just a guess, but they might be drone communication towers for drone deliveries of stuff like pizzas and perhaps Amazon purchases.

Flat top poles are AT&T(Communication Industry). Bevel cut top Electric companies. Length of pole is branded at a point near the base off pole when it is buried. The brand is at a point to be read at at a 5-6’ level when in ground. The Brand carries much info!

See Post #57.
I’ve been told it is the receiver and transmitter or the meter readerlees electric meters,
Don’t know if it’s WiFi, it’s certainly an antenna of some sort. Size wise, it could be WiFi or some other high-band communication network antenna.
Maybe 5G beginning installation?.....................
Careful now! With that kind of answer Chickensoup will think you're being sassy!
Please don’t fret over it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, are you stupid?
