Vanity. Does 'early voting' preclude Obama from being able to cancel election day?

There was a thread earlier discussing what would happen if hrc was arrested before nov 8 and what that would do to the ticket and if obama could stall the elections while the dnc sought another candidate. Does early voting lock hrc in as the candidate regardless if she is arrested, or dies, or disappears?

The constitution precludes it.

Is she drops out, too bad, how sad. There are still three other “major” candidates. And the Uniparty screwed itself because “write-ins” have been made very difficult to do.

Only Jaegers can cancel the apocalypse.

Elections are state by state. There is no "Federal" election. So technically he cannot stop the election.

Doesn't mean he won't try.

Does he have the authority to do that? It’s his candidate who’s corrupt.

Doesn’t her running mate just take over? No reason to start from scratch.

Good question, only I doubt anyone really knows. But my guess is that the Republicans would allow him a small time to pick a new candidate, and the voting would take place without any early voting at all due to the delay. Which would mean that anyone who had voted early and then subsequently passed, would lose their vote. I don’t think Hillary will back out, nor do I believe that Comey will proceed against her until after the election. If Donald is elected than he will arrest Hillary. If Hillary is elected then he will drop the case.

She won’t drop out.

If she were to win the election, it may be Tim Kaine taking office in January.

And no one will be arrested...what we are seeing take shape is going to be the biggest s***storm in history. Think Mary Queen of Scots vs Queen Elizabeth I. Clinton v. Obama and they all have the goods on each other. More than just fur is going to fly.

There’s NO CHANCE she will be arrested within 10 days of an investigation entailing thousands of emails, putting together a case, and charging her.

Come on guys.

"WE" don't actually vote for the candidate.
We are actually in effect voting for the Electoral College.
They are actually the ones voting...And they aren't bound by who we vote for.

That’s correct, he can not unilaterally cancel the election, but with Congress’s approval they may be able to temporarily postpone it. After all, many RINO’s like their Democrat counterparts believe the Constitution is a living document that can be augmented to satisfy certain situations.
