That’s correct, he can not unilaterally cancel the election, but with Congress’s approval they may be able to temporarily postpone it. After all, many RINO’s like their Democrat counterparts believe the Constitution is a living document that can be augmented to satisfy certain situations.

Not without an amendment to the Constitution, they can’t.

It would spark Revolution II if they even tried it.

An election could be postponed with the cooperation of state and local governments. On short notice, may as well herd cats.

Lawsuits over whether political advertising should be paid for, angry political challengers who looked like sure winners; people haven’t thought these things through.

The kicker is that the president’s term expires regardless of whether there is an election as per the 20th and 22nd Amendments. In the extreme case, the Speaker of the House would become Acting President.
