We are actually in effect voting for the Electoral College.
They are actually the ones voting...And they aren't bound by who we vote for.

And they aren't bound by who we vote for. They are bound by law in many states. They can vote for whomever they please and we can't stop them, but they can be fined or imprisoned for doing so in the states that prohibit it.
