Im reminded when the guy from new jersey running for senate was indicted but the courts allowed the dems to replace him.
There is a major difference between senate races and Presidential. In the senate race you are actually voting for the person. In presidential you vote for a slate of electors. So by law there doesn’t even need to be a person listed on the ballot.
