Dear Trump Supporters... Shove It! [Jim Robinson responds at 198]
Vanity | 2/16/2016 | pgyanke

Posted on 02/16/2016 11:38:31 AM PST by pgyanke

Dear Trump Supporters,

You say you don't support Ted Cruz because he's a liar (even though he backs up everything he says) and plays dirty politics (like sabotaging Dr Carson's run in Iowa). The former has been dealt with every time it's brought up. I want to deal with the latter definitively.

You say that Ted Cruz deliberately sabotaged Dr Carson in Iowa. However, it has been shown conclusively that Ted's team got the information from CNN who got the information from Dr Carson's team. If that hurt Dr Carson's results... show me one person who changed his vote because of that information. By now, someone should have come forward.

You want to know who is playing dirty politics? Your guy. I know many people who would like to vote for Ted Cruz but they don't think he's eligible due to the birther issue... because of your guy. There is a demonstrative level of support for Ted that is being suppressed by the allegation. Yet, the only definitive statement on the subject from an objective source (IL Board of Elections) has ruled in Ted's favor.

Your guy persists. Constitutional scholar that Donald Trump is, he persists with the birther comments and suppresses Ted Cruz's support. Oh wait... it's not because of the Constitution. Trump will drop it if Ted apologizes. Seriously? This isn't a Constitutional issue for Trump, it's personal... and that is his Achilles Heal. It's all personal for Trump.

You want to challenge Ted Cruz's eligibility? Do it. You simply want to keep the issue alive to hurt his campaign? That's just the usual dirty politics... and your guy isn't the paragon of virtue you claim.

So... put up or shove it.

I do not support Cruz for the simple reason that he hates my guts. I'm not the only one he hates. I'm just one of the tens of millions of Americans whom he has no use for because we are not of his particular sect.

Excellent point, CaptainK.
I like Donald Trump.
I like Ted Cruz.
Either of them would be a far superior POTUS than Hillary C., Bernie S., Joe B., or Elizabeth W.

I have nothing against Cruz campaign tricks, if that is what they are, it’s all part of the game. Personally, I think he’s eligible to run despite being born in Canada. Cruz was always my #2 choice. But, what has been a turn off is his wife saying that Ted is going to “show us the face of God,” and Glenn Beck telling us that we have to vote for Cruz because he has been sent by God to guide us thru the Rapture. To me, that all sounds a little big too Jim Jonesish. That’s the kind of stuff you hear in compounds, not political campaigns.

Another Cruzor Loser rant. Most of you guys have been saying you will never, ever, vote for Trump anyway. Why should we care what you say now?

Well said!!!! I have heard numerous Trump supporters say that they would vote for Cruz if he won the nomination (me included). These Cruzaders are hysterical, desperate, and down right nasty to anyone who dares questions their king. All for a candidate who's claim to fame is serving 3 years in the senate and accomplishing nothing except being led astray on a few key votes (Corker, TPA). What business has Ted started? What payroll has Ted had to make? Where are his economic bona fides/experiences? What experience does he have in making trade deals?

It is true he is a great and principled lawyer. He'd make a great Supreme Court justice, not a president.

15 debates and 15 candidates clawing at each other for a year. You almost couldn’t design a system better built to ruin our candidate in the general.

Really, this breath of sanity is totally wasted. Back to the blood-letting.

In the same interview, he laughed off the suggestion and ‘ruled that out’.

But keep lying. That’s what’s killing your candidate.

Yes, Ma’am. Trump’s sister was appointed as judge by REAGAN. (I want to keep it out there as much as possible!)

Trump sees the real problems. If you don’t fix those you lose your country. One of the many reasons to support a businessman. Trump has spent 50 years cutting dead weight to survive. This must happen to the federal government ASAP.

Not gonna flame ya, FRiend.

But I will ask you to not lump me in with anyone calling Ted Cruz a liar, or saying he's playing dirty politics. I'm not saying that, and I am backing Trump. I like Cruz for the stands he has taken against Mitch "the B*tch* McConnell and Harry Reid. but he isn't my first choice.

Wanna know why?

Because all Cruz does is talk and "take stands." Ted Cruz is a toothless tiger. Toothless tigers are not going to wrest control of this country from the entrenched establishment.

Trump knows how to fight. He isn't afraid to get his suit dirty. And in case you had not yet noticed, the Establishment has no answer for him when he takes a swing.

I may not agree with some of the things Trump says. But nobody is better suited to dope-slap the everlovin' snot out of the congressional establishment than Donald Trump is.

If Cruz ever takes off his "polished orator" hat and comes out swinging like Trump does, I may take a closer look. But as long as he's unwilling to kick ass, he's a non-starter with me.

JC isn’t supporting Cruz because JC thinks he’s better suited to lead a condo owners association in Florida than to be POTUS. Further, JC believes die hard Cruzers are the types that want the church pastor as president. Cruzers are also the most surprised when the church pastor ends up being dirtier than the average congregant. JC knows these things, and is comfortable enough with his own morality that he doesn’t need a “pretend” paragon of virtue as POTUS.

JC judges who to support as follows:

1. Which candidate knows best, that which must be done to allow the country to prosper?

2. Which candidate can win and get the items in #1 done?

Dear Trump Supporters, You say you don't support Ted Cruz because he's a liar"

I support what Trump is doing in that he has totally messed up the GOP elites game. As far as Ted Cruz he is a brilliant fellow. I don't appreciate any candidate that does not resign their current seat to run for another and I certainly don't think much of anyone who take money from Goldman. But if Cruz is the nominee I'll support him, or Carson, or Rubio or YOU for that matter.

I love this presidential cycle, it is bare knuckled the way it should be. I'm not about to ask Freepers to settle down and be nice. Slug it out. I like that people are so pissed off, maybe the GOP handlers will get the damn idea that we are All GOING Howard Beale this cycle. That is THE ONE THING I know everyone here can agree on. We are all mad as hell!
