Two weeks ago, Scalia was traveling, extensively and in seemingly fine health, across Asia.
Projecting their own cowardice, the Left thinks we are too timid to use our guns.
You’d think so!
He was 79 years old, very overweight, out of shape, probably had a host of medical issues...
A heart attack is highly likely...
His family has the final say, not conspiracy nuts...
The enzymes take a number of hours to rise after the heart attack. If he died suddenly enzymes would not be of much help

I think it’s required by law. Don’t know if this is accurate. It will feed the conspiracy stories for sure.
I am fine with this. If I were a family member I’d see no point in an autopsy on a near 80 year old who dies in his sleep. And to be honest I am a little over the bizarre fetish for conspiracy theories that seems so prevalent on FR.
His death is a national tragedy. No need to make more of it than that. Time to focus on blocking Obama’s appointment.

He was embalmed nearly right away. No coroner ever pronounced him deceased either.
IIRC Vince Foster was found laying flat on his back, legs together and straight out, and his both arms by his sides.

Autopsy is necessary to dispel any conspiracy theories. This decision by the family is highly suspicious (if true).

Yet as details of his sudden death trickled in Sunday, it appeared that the hours afterward were anything but orderly. The man known for his elegant legal opinions and profound intellect was found dead in his room at a hunting resort by a ranch owner.
It then took hours for authorities in remote West Texas to find a justice of the peace, officials said Sunday. When they did, she pronounced Scalia dead of natural causes without seeing the body and decided not to order an autopsy.
A second justice of the peace, who was called but couldn’t get to Scalia’s body in time, said she would have ordered an autopsy.
My father is just a few years older than Scalia and only recently found out he need open heart surgery.(Tuesday) No real symptoms, just a good Dr. found it.
I’m 2 decades younger and I’m getting an echocardiogram this week.
Hmmmm.. Has the family received death threats?
