I am fine with this. If I were a family member I’d see no point in an autopsy on a near 80 year old who dies in his sleep. And to be honest I am a little over the bizarre fetish for conspiracy theories that seems so prevalent on FR.

His death is a national tragedy. No need to make more of it than that. Time to focus on blocking Obama’s appointment.

Thank you for this. I completely agree. This is a family decision.

I also want to point out that his family may be aware of medical conditions related to the Justice that are not common knowledge. In the absence of indication of foul play, there is simply no need to circumvent their wishes.

My father died suddenly, at home alone. We knew, and he knew, that he had a heart condition. My sister and I were given a choice as to autopsy. We knew my father's thoughts on that, and we declined.

You see a “bizarre fetish” for conspiracy theories on FR?

Do you see who is president? A man who has to date literally not shown one document proving he is eligible or even was born a citizen.

Who’s running for President? A woman who aided and abetted rapists and murderers, and put our top secret documents onto the World Wide Web. And a man who smuggled drugs into the country with his CIA daddy.

Do you feel you can trust the information the mainstream media allows you to have?
