Toronto– A close encounter with Jupiter about four billion years ago may have resulted in another planet’s ejection from the solar system altogether, scientists have found.

The existence of a fifth giant gas planet at the time of the solar system’s formation — in addition to Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune that we know of today — was first proposed in 2011, researchers said.

Ignoring the delicious headline, just what happens when two gas balls collide?

They get smashed into little farticles?

"Did Jupiter Bumped The Giant Planet From Our Solar System?"

Will journalists take the vacation to Venus along with the sponsors and political class fans of their propaganda?

Basically it was a fine gas planet. But the solar system already had a couple of them, and it smelled. So they kicked him out.

The JEB story.

Well let’s be a little thankful, because it would have caused major damage to the solar system if Jupiter spilled Mercury and bumped Uranus!

This would likely be the planet Nibiru which has its roots allegedly in Mesopotamian mythology

Ah, but the Greek/Roman mythology has Jupiter bumping off Saturn.

The asteroid Ceres has more than half the mass of the entire main asteroid belt, and together all those asteroids (with Ceres) have about 3% of the mass of Earth's moon. Our Moon has about 1% the mass of the Earth.

It can be the result of automating headline generation and crowd-sourcing headline title creation to people on Amazon Mturk (which I’ve seen as posted tasks).

The bad headlines are either:
A. computer generated
B. generated by people with limited English skills and/or talent via crowdsourcing websites
