Did you take Cuddles in to be spayed/neutered?
I’ve never heard of that simple procedure leading to death.

I’m so sorry to hear about Cuddles. It’s a hard thing to loose a kitty.
I’m sorry for your loss. It may be tough, but make sure you get the body and that it’s your cat.

We had a vet here that was running “50’s Fridays” where a spay or neuter for cats/dogs up to 15 pounds was $50. I took advantage with our new puppy. I got that heebie jeebie feeling, but told myself it was because the puppy was scared. 2 weeks later the news said the place was closed down because the vet was using the same needles and instruments 5 or 6 times w/o replacing or resanitizing them. We were lucky our puppy was okay, but it ripped my guts out to hear that news story & wonder what our puppy suffered.
I’m so sorry that this happened to you. I just told you our story to let you know you aren’t alone. I felt the same as you did and left our puppy anyway. Please know you’re not alone.

I didn’t want to click on this link. I love cats. I talked my first one out of the bushes when I was two. My Mom taught me how to say “Here kitty kitty. Big feral male. Called him Big, after cleveland radio host Big Wilson. That was 66 years ago. I’ve always had a cat. My home would seem empty without one! Lost a wonderful girl just recently. I’m shedding tears for you! God bless Cuddles! I’m going to brush Mao right now, and be thankful she has me!

So sorry that Cuddles is gone. Hard to lose any animal, but a sweet young kittie must be unbearable.
