Saying prayers to St. Francis of Assisi the patron saint of animals. My wife and I rescued a little kitten who showed up in our yard a month ago with a broken leg. We took her to the vet and they put a splint on it hoping it might fuse the broken bones together but it didn’t so they had to amputate her leg. We keep her with us now. We call her ‘’Peanut’’ because she’s so little. Be at peace my friend, may the Lord mend your broken heart and know ‘’Cuddles’’ is at peace in Heaven.
