I have done several searches, looked at several news sites. I can't find any news about where the president is today. On Drudge, I'm reading that DC has terrible problems after the storms. Where is the president? Does anyone remember how Bush was blamed after Katrina? Is Obama anywhere bringing comfort to the Beltway?
Golfing.
Does anyone know? And please provide links... especially to the links where he may be golfing this weekend.
There was a big tournament in Maryland.
Was Baraq there cheering on Tiger Woods?

On Saturday, the President will depart the White House for Camp David. The departure from the South Lawn is open press.
The President will remain at Camp David through Tuesday.
I suspect as much, but I honestly would like to know what his schedule is this weekend and the next few days. And if he’s playing, feasting and fundraising, that’s worth knowing and I hope Romney makes use of it!!
Well he was in CO re: the fires. Seems he reduced the fire retardant planes from 44 to 8 ... so he is busy somewhere.
Tnx. So he’s hiding at Camp David? Isn’t it too hot to golf there? Wow. So he’s leaving the Capitol while things are tough there...

Yeah, he’s at camp David and I heard he “hates” Camp David because there’s no golf there.
If I were president, I’d promise the American people that
a) I’d only fly on Air Force One for the reasons that it was built (as a mobile command post) and
b) would only leave DC for Camp David so as not to inconvenience the entire populace of whatever city I’m flying into (not to mention the Secret Service detail - though with this latest group, I get the feeling they like being out of town away from their wives...)
Hopefully indeed. Was this the year he was supposed to take a lower profile? No, I think that was last year. Mr. Narcissistic Personality Disorder didn’t make it past week one on that effort.
Then, on Tuesday he jets off to France. Can’t be here for the 4th ya know.

The only comfort Obama could bring would be to just go away.
We’d probably be better off if he just plays golf from now till Nov so he can’t screw anything else up. While we’re at it send Mooch on permanent vacation too. Everytime they do anything it ends up costing the taxpayers a fortune.

They don’t mess around at Camp David, and they don’t like Obama being there.
Obama hates the place because of the intense scrutiny upon each and every person there every single minute, thus Obama takes a big risk being there if he has to communicate with his handlers, sends a courier out for some blow or having a conference with his caddy.
This also shows a deviation of Obamas routine, why indeed would he be there? A security issue? Internet chatter?
Does he feel paranoid enough and distrustful of anyone with a weapon from the SS to any police officer of the Park Service he has to run off somewhere like a political ostrich, hiding in the sand until it cools off?
it took me some googling, but it seems he is in Camp David for the weekend.
Since that area of Maryland was in the direct path of the storm, he may stay put (road blocks with trees and wires and it may not be safe to fly).
And yes, I wondered about that too...
