I am sick and tired of this site being taken over by Catholics ( of which I am one ) stories or proverbs. This is a news site not a religion site. Go do that somewhere else. I am not opposed to your prostilazion(sp), just not here. We lose credibility if any religious group dictates or can be quoted from this site.
As a long term member of this site I regret posting this information, but the site has been buried in Catholic stuff recently and it should be shunted to some separate page.

The Pope just phoned and said you need to have more tolerance or stay out of the religious threads.

If I got a post deleted for simply stating, "I am glad I moved away from my crazy mormon neighbors who always threatened to call the cops on me."
This wasn't a diss on mormons, more a diss against people who are nuts and call the cops about anything.
Post in the religion forums, this is for breaking news not your insight.

I think the problem may be that you've opened up to all forums - "Everything" on the sidebar - which will bring the Religion forum posts in, and are looking at the Comments tab, which will show you each comment in full. That can be a problem with RF posts because of a tendency for them to be lengthy and over-elaborate. What happens then is the necessity to scroll down through the stuff in order to reach the next post. Yes, it can make it appear that RF posters are trying to take over FR. Trust me, they really aren't. That's just how it is on the RF and it's bleeding over due to circumstances beyond its inhabitants' control.
The Activity tab used to hide most of this, but it isn't working since the last software upgrade. What you can do is to go to the right sidebar and click on "Browse by Forum," News/Activism. You can also stick to the Articles tab - you'll still see the RF main articles but not the full text of the posts.
The RF has its own rhythm, its own passions, not to mention a coterie of regulars who are some of the nicest, and some of the nastiest, people on FR. But they don't mean to intrude. Just hang with it is my advice. :-)

And here I was thinking I was on top of things technical. No, I’m not creating duplicate bookmarks to do what a decent filtering system should do. Not creating/downloading virus filled Apps. I’ll just have to stumble into the occasional ill-titled thread and try not to tell the poster what an anti-christ he/she/it is. Eh.

Ignatius, certified lion-chow, was Bishop of Antioch after Simon Peter ("Cephas") (d. circa AD 67) and Evodius (who also died around AD 67). Eusebius records that Ignatius succeeded Evodius. Theodoret (Dial. Immutab., I, iv, 33a) reported that Peter himself appointed Ignatius to the see of Antioch.
Hence "hierarchy."
Hence "Orthodox."
Hence "Catholic and Apostolic."
Constantine, a couple centuries later, was neither a bishop nor Orthodox nor Catholic. He was an Arian.
